My wife bought a bunch of that crap about 4 years ago and I think we still have some of the quarter sized "filet mignons" in the freezer. We ended up either giving most of the meat away or feeding it to the dog. The fish was like mush and full of bones and the meat tasted like it has been soaked in a brine rinse... very salty, and mushy as well. Next time a similar truck shows up, they will get the dog sicked on them.

[TR] Beacon Rock - Lone Wolf and the Last Hurrah 9/12/2009

Probably not, but if the forest manager shows up to the forest one day and notices someone has cut down most of the trees, I bet you would see a much stricter and more heavily enforced tree cutting policy soon there after. -
FOUND Quickdraw on the P1 anchor of Young Warriors

"They" tried blasting the big B into oblivion many years ago and all that resulted was some new overhanging routes and a few caves that LCK and Jim now reside in. -

I appreciate the effort you put in at Beacon, even if I don't always agree with you. I'd be happy to help out when the time comes, just let me know. -

I just did 10 with a light pack on (harness, belay devices, shoes and helmet inside). Only 10 but with very good form. Hands facing away from me, nice and slow up and down. I guess I could squeeze out 1 or two more if I was not so lazy. -
I think I sharted after reading this! I am still laughing. quietly though. Wow, thank you Arch! I have been trying to remember this most eloquent word (sharted) for a few months now but could not remember it to save my life. It was really bugging me. Seriously. I owe you big time, scotch is on me. I'm so happy, I'm gonna go sharting out loud! Well, maybe not that excited.

Yes Bill, very funny!

That was a really nice lead Nate. A few more laps and it would be lichen free and even more fun. Although the lower section is a bit out of my league, the upper half was awesome. I took a few pics with my crackberry, sorry the quality is so poor...

No, it's MUCH WORSE than it looks. Ozone, however, is world class, so go there instead. Don't waste your time with pile of rubble like Beacon, trust me! -
NICE!

I did not know there was such a thing.

Is that R-Dawg at the sport crags?
-
Very tue... I'm hoping to find a pair that can fit my custom orthodics.
-
Yeah, I was hoping to check out 2nd ascent this weekend when I head to Seattle. It's all about the fit, that's for sure.
-
Yes, I will need to try these on. I see they are on sale for $231 at BC.com. Thanks!
-
Absolutely! I have had good luck with Asolo hiking boots, as far as really good fit. Any word on their mountaineering boots?
-
So it's time to step up and get a new pair of all around mountaineering boots. I don't need anything for specialized climbing as I don't do much (or any) ice or don't plan on any major expeditions. I just need some comfortable, crampon compatible boots for stuff like Mt Hood and the like. Since they are pretty spendy, I was hoping for some advice. BTW, I have wide feet. I love LaSportiva for rock shoes but I hear their boots don't fit wide feet well, is this true? Thanks!
