  1. well I read this stuff even if no one else does. LOL!!!! Yeah but, where can I get one and how much will it cost me?
  2. I've still got the "hotel" model that cost me around $50, if I remember correctly. Sleeps about 20 and has room for couple of cars. Great for the concert scene or family camping. It leaks like a sieve and most of the zippers are broke or very stubborn, but hey, at least it blows over easily and has shitty poles.
  3. If Beacon is not the Gorge, what the hell is the beautiful view I'm looking at from any of the routes there? I get your point though.
  4. Yeah but, where can I get one and how much will it cost me?
  5. He must be talking about me, although I don't believe I've ever met him.
  6. Either Rhythm Method or the first pitch of Young Warriors. The second pitch he was on is def. Cruisin.
  7. LCK knows all about that pumpy 5.7...
  8. Planning a trip up Everest soon and thinking I need a new tent for the harsh conditions I will surely encounter. Does anyone know where I can get me one of them $20 WalMart tents I keep hearing about on the interwebs? And, how much do they cost, BTW?
  9. Is there a midnight, I'm off route and need some beta app? Oh yeah, that's just speed dial w/Jim's #.
  10. I think we found some pieces of that at the base of Stone Rodeo. Can't hear me now...
  11. I'm currently with T-Mobile and I have never had AT&T service but it seems most carriers have a good signal on the south and west side but kind of spotty on the hikers trail on the east, as well as in the parking lot.
  12. I like the days that are so windy you throw the rope and it actually goes UP instead of down.
  13. What was Ben using the caulk for anyway?
  14. Depends on which time zone you live in.
  15. I love my Marmot Atom +40. 800 fill, just over 1b and packs down very small. This topic just came up a few days ago... UL Sleeping Bags Marmot Atom +40
  16. Happy Birthday Old Timer.
  17. 2nd that, I love mine too.
  18. The Whole Foods around here carry them... check the ones in Portland. Thanks for the tip. There is a new "By the Bottle" specialty beer store that just opened in Washougal and I have requested they carry it too. Hopefully they will start stocking it soon.
  19. It's good to finally see some quality, craft brews in a can. Like Caldera Brewing of Ashland, OR. Wish I could find some around here.
  20. BUMP! Dale's Pale Not bad. A bit on the malty side for a pale (IMO). I like the fact it comes in a can. Much more bivy compatable.
  21. For me, it is also about the size if I am trying to climb with it. So far, I have been satisfied with the quality of the zippers and hope it will last many years if I take care if it properly. I prefer to use it with a bivy when I can to help preserve it.
  22. Damn straight! Makes you dream better! And, recent research has shown that the right character can add almost 5 degrees to the bags rating.
  23. I love my new Marmot Atom +40 but have not spent many nights in it yet. It was cozy right at 40 degrees and weighs just over a pound. Packs up to about a grapefruit if you use a compression sack. Atom +40
