So, just for the record, would that be "Click" or "Clack"? -
I had the same problem in my mid twenties for a year or two. I finally went in and had surgery to fix the "sit-uation". When the doc was done, he showed me the offending object, which was about 2-3 inches long, and kindly offered to let me take it home as a souvenir. Would have made a nice piece for a necklace or sumpin. After long consideration, I decided to pass on it. Those specialists are some funny bastards. Guess you'd have to have a pretty good sense of humor for that line of work. "One in a million shot doc!" - Frank Costanza

Bring it by next time you are here... it might be one of my kids. We've been hanging out there quite a bit in the past few weeks. My 4 yr old even goes to the caves and yells "Hey Jim, hey Kenny, are you in dare". Wonder where she got that, hmmm.

Cold days and short nights! Hope you sped up this thing Dude. I know you could cruise it if it was not too cold. I had a cold moment this weekend myself. Shouldn't have fallen. Sigh! Someone else will be posting a TR on getting stuck out on Snake Dike just last Saturday and climbing all night in the dark to get up and back to camp soon. Probably the same day you were thinking of Astroman. I was wondering what Scott was up to down there...

wingnuts, they're not just for talk-radio! -
NEVER PAY RETAIL!

Might be a bit bigger than you want, but I love my Osprey "Varient 52". It has a lot of climber friendly features and rides like a Rolls Royce. I think you can stretch it to almost 60L with it fully extended. They have a smaller 37L version as well. Varient 52

Well said. Nothing worse than getting a few days into a two-week back county trip and be miserable cause your cheap pants, coat, tent or whatever gear rips apart a few days after you bought it. Also, some brands charge way too much but at least you get a lifetime warranty on many products. I got one of the original TNF "Windy Pass" gortex jackets when they first came out in the late 80's. I used it for about ten years and when it no longer fit and leaked I sent it back to them cause it says right on the tag it has a lifetime warranty. They sent me a BRAND NEW, much nicer version, which I used for about another 10 years. I just sent that one back and they gave me a gift card for the TNF store for much more than the original jacket cost. So, I originally had a jacket that was about $100 back in the day, which served me well for many years and now I am still able to use it/them due to the superior warranty they provide. I have had many other similar experiences with other good brands like MSR, Sierra Designs, Raichle boots and others. Try that at WalMart.

Another one of my favorites is "Minus 148 Degrees" by Art Davidson. If you have not yet read this one, it covers the epic first winter ascent of Denali and is just as good as touching the void (IMO).

Cause some of his pics are BIG, just like the number of pitches he gets done in a day... -
I've always referred to the knife I carry on climbs as my JS knife. Hope I never have to use it for that.

Where did you get that idea?

These videos are great and I have been going over many of them to clear the cobwebs on skills I have not used in decades. Thanks for all the effort and time you have invested in making them. What I am wondering about is a "climbing fest" in Florida? WTF??

I, for one, am anxious to see what this promising young climber will do in years to come. On the other hand, naturally gifted climbers and athletes just piss me off as I am not so fortunate.

Nice! I love this shot.
