  1. Pink bikinis are AID!!! Full disclosure: Although technically pink bikinis are aid, statute PB.HTRS.HWTE.2. section 3-4-420 of the FOTHH clearly states pink bikinis are mandatory attire for ALL female ice climbers between the ages of 18-40 years old, provided said female ice climbers do not exceed the size/weight thresholds of 40x32x36 or 190lbs, which ever is less. Under NO circumstances should any ice climber ever attempt to use a pink bikini UNLESS said ice climber fits into the above criteria. The statute need not apply to the obese, or otherwise "beautifully challenged" female ice climbers who are banned from using pink bikinis in any form of ice climbing or other predatory sports.

It's dem damn Demcrats fault for all the bolts!
  3. Thanks, I will try to find some to try on in PDX.
  4. OK, so here's my cheesy video to go along with the cheesy Gordita. Thanks for the Vimeo tip, stevetimetravlr. [video:vimeo] Windsurfer, Beacon Rock, August 2008 from David Goldring on Vimeo.
  5. What size pants do you normally wear. I'm wondering if these would fit me with about a 32" waist/inseam.
  6. And I thought flying a kite was a fun way to spend a breezy afternoon. Oh, I was not supposed to be the kite? Now ya tell me.
  7. Thanks Steve. I will try it on vimeo.
  8. How do you get the video imbedded so you can see the YouTube screen here? Seems there used to be an "upload video" button on the toolbar that had a YouTube icon, but I don't see it now. U got to create a u-tube account first then upload the video to u-tube. The video gets assigned a web address. In the reply box on cc click enter a media tag then select you-tube video. A box pops up, put in the url and click okay and blam o easy huh Thanks.
  9. Sort of. I put one together a few weeks ago but when I went to upload it online, I was told I can't use the music as I did not have copyrights. I could swap it out with YouTube music but did not find any songs I wanted. Any way around this?
  10. Those pics are not of Blownout, rather Steppenwolf. But, I'm not sure at all as I took them from the SWolf belay, but it looked like the general area. Maybe it was another nearby column? Maybe you were looking at the pic of Ivan on Swolf, this sure looks like Blownout to me...
  11. I had fun.

  13. Whether their is a god or not I prayed a few times yesterday Amen, brother.
  14. Great thread topic. My tic list just keeps getting longer.
  15. Pretty hard to prove a negative. I would say it is hard to prove that God actually exists…… Isn't the "Proof in the pudding"?
  16. Maybe we should stash a tennis racket up there to whack to rats down to the river?
  17. Looks like you picked the right night, Plaid. I sure wanted to come out myself but had the family thing going on.
  18. i was gonna put up some video of it last night, but instead mostly i just laid on my couch in a ptsd-coma dave, you get any decent pix? if i'd got any video of you doing the insane twist on your jug, rope ripping over the edge and all, you know i'd have it out for you! I took a few pics before I joined you. I also got some shots of the hard core dudes on Blownout. They did it free, from what I could tell. That route kicks my ass in the best of weather, can't imagine doing it yesterday. I took some short video too. I'll post a few pics now. I think Justin got some video of me flailing in the wind, just trying to stay near the rock. Did you guys get down before dark? I should have stayed in the cave as it was pretty chilly at home ... The Mrs was none to happy I went out, WTF.
  19. That was just me yelling at him.
  20. Pretty hard to prove a negative. To assume absolutely there is no god, you must know everything about the whole universe, thus making you god. I think you mean YOU don't believe in God. We all know Tvash is the only one here who is that smart...
  21. Raindawg. You know I like you and respect you even if we disagree. But your statement does not jive. “It ain't all about "seeing them"? You got to be kidding? UH…..if a tree falls in the forest and nobody is around to hear it fall….did it make noise? Same concept I believe. If you cannot see the bolts….then you don’t know they are there. Out of sight, out of mind, eh? So would it be O.K. for me to pick a vertical line somewhere and scratch my initials in the rock about every six feet or so? I won't mind if it helps you send your proj, Dawg, dude.
  22. Perhaps you should pose this question to our resident retail expert, JohnDavidJR? As THE foremost expert in this field, he knows more about retail values than any other poster here, ever. I bet MalWart makes a functionally similar model you can find in the hardware dept, for about $20.
  23. The problem with the rat(s) is they are so small you need quite a few to make a decent meal.
