  1. I think we found some pieces of that at the base of Stone Rodeo. Can't hear me now...
  2. I'm currently with T-Mobile and I have never had AT&T service but it seems most carriers have a good signal on the south and west side but kind of spotty on the hikers trail on the east, as well as in the parking lot.
  3. I like the days that are so windy you throw the rope and it actually goes UP instead of down.
  4. What was Ben using the caulk for anyway?
  5. Depends on which time zone you live in.
  6. I love my Marmot Atom +40. 800 fill, just over 1b and packs down very small. This topic just came up a few days ago... UL Sleeping Bags Marmot Atom +40
  7. Happy Birthday Old Timer.
  8. 2nd that, I love mine too.
  9. The Whole Foods around here carry them... check the ones in Portland. Thanks for the tip. There is a new "By the Bottle" specialty beer store that just opened in Washougal and I have requested they carry it too. Hopefully they will start stocking it soon.
  10. It's good to finally see some quality, craft brews in a can. Like Caldera Brewing of Ashland, OR. Wish I could find some around here.
  11. BUMP! Dale's Pale Not bad. A bit on the malty side for a pale (IMO). I like the fact it comes in a can. Much more bivy compatable.
  12. For me, it is also about the size if I am trying to climb with it. So far, I have been satisfied with the quality of the zippers and hope it will last many years if I take care if it properly. I prefer to use it with a bivy when I can to help preserve it.
  13. Damn straight! Makes you dream better! And, recent research has shown that the right character can add almost 5 degrees to the bags rating.
  14. I love my new Marmot Atom +40 but have not spent many nights in it yet. It was cozy right at 40 degrees and weighs just over a pound. Packs up to about a grapefruit if you use a compression sack. Atom +40
  15. Regardless of any extra costs, ALWAYS go with the bag with the cutest and most colorful cartoon character on it.
  16. Might be cheaper if you just happen to be right behind a guided group by "accident".
  17. learning to bolt should be done with someone who is experienced at putting them in... you can't read about it and then claim you know what you're doin Coming from an expert bolter.
  18. I like how one of my buddies puts it... The only thing scarier than trad climbing at Beacon is sport climbing at Beacon. I sure don't want to lead it.
  19. YOWZA!
  20. Some friends of the family raise our pig every year. I always intend to go meet the little feller before he is in the freezer, but it has yet to happen. Maybe this year? After getting it this way, I cringe at the thought of the thought of poor souls eating store bought bacon, sausage, ham, steaks, chops, mmmmmmmmmmmmm BACON. I digress...
  21. So is everyone else... anyone who takes this stuff too seriously shouldn't be on this site! Yeah buddy!
  22. So, now that we have a Bacon forum, can we get a little bacon gif like the smiles and such? 8D 8D :kisss: ... :[] :: baa sickie I know, it's a slippery slope...
  23. That's BACON Rock Pete, shheeesh.
