    SUSHI

Wrong. Californian rice has not flavor. Try Thai rice. Good quality raw fish is loaded with flavor. if you call it NORI instead of seaweed then you can break that mental barrier as well. NORI is loaded with flavor, vietmins, minerals and numerous trace elements that your body needs.

BTDT Not gross, but rather YUMMY! I have been in a little shop in the Tsukiji market where they only served tuna. AKA NIKU, CHU TORO, HON TORO, and a wide variety of other tuna sushi and sashimi. Now that was the best ever. Oh, btw, it was for breakfast.
  4. lets do it right the first time. No monorail, we need subways. I remember the high gas prices of the 70's. At that time there was a demand for alternative fuels. However those high prices were created by an artificial short supply. Now we are in a totally differant situation. Supply is not being curb as much as demand is skyrocketing. These higher prices will curb use. We will change to alternative fuels. Thank W for getting us into the current mess so that finally we will see some true, real and long lasting changes to our feule consumption.

It is BS, BS, and more BS. First of all I must tell you all that I am 46 and I first had Sushi when I was 17 and living in Japan. My absolute favorite is HON-TORO which you can not find out side of Japan. That is the very fatty belly of the tuna. Now for the reason I call out BS. SOME, not all, but some of the oceans are in declining stocks. The news media has failed to report that in Alaska fish are NOT endangered, nor are they threatened. The famed copper river salmon, oh BTW fishing will open on May 14, 2007, so go buy it when it gets to the stores on May 15, is managed using scientific methodologies where SUSTAINABILITY is the primary focus. That is the only reason we still have a Copper River salmon fishery. It really pisses me off that our fish harvested in Alaska is properly managed with sustainability as the driving force, but that never makes the press. Oh, yeah, I do work in the industry…
  6. Voted the second cutest animal in North America in a recent World Wildlife Fund survey I wonder who was voted the cutest. My vote was for the lingerie models.
  7. Oh, how I hate that brush whippen, but it sure is nice once you get above it. Nice job. White Horse is on my personal hit list.
  8. Yeah like Lost In Space?
  9. Um Kit, that was the talking car, right? I think that was the early '80s or so. I was finishing up a the UW.... So that makes those other shows AFTER my time.
  10. 20g vanilla or chocolate whey protein 1 LARGE banana 2-3 tablespoons of peanut of almond butter 2-3 tablespoons of blackberry honey or dark maple syrup Dash of salt (salt is important for glycogen synthesis) Now that sound GREAT! I don't know about all of those ameno acids reating to the glieceen, or what evers, but I do know bananas adn peanut butter and chocolate go very well together. Oh woof baby woof
  11. Water, PB&J with a banana in it (its really good), water, apple, water, snickers bar, and more water.
  12. I thought he said it was in Spanaway...
  13. Hold on. You hit a very sensative issue. My wife choose to stay at home and HOME school, yes, home school our two children. WE choose that she would give up a VERY sucsefull carree as a CPA. Yes, she had her own firm. She made twice I do, did, can make. It is a question of choices. A close friend said, "Any monkey can be taught how to add a column of numbers, but only one person can be a mother to a child". Stay at home or work are choices. We make our choices and live with them. My wife is happy. Our children are well educated and happy. Now if I can ever complete a V2 I will be really happy.
  14. Hey, I heard Rainier opens on Saturday morning. Where is that place, and what time do they open. I can stop by on my way to Rainier, but then again if I am going to Rainier I am going to need lots of good coffee.
  15. Are gym rats welcomed?

  17. I am inspired! Great job! And thank you for the photos.
  18. Cool, wow, nice….. I especially liked the shots looking at Colchuck and Dragontail. I think if you go back a few days you can see a photo of someone descending the Colchuck Co. Your photos, and that photo all a lot for perspective very nice. Thank you for sharing.
  19. Sirs, you are one set of sick puppies. Darn good on you. Now seriously, what are you training for?
  20. We were very pleased that we had gone high class and brought Maruchan rather than Top for this recovery meal. We believe this to be the first ascent of the face. I will be sure to tell the buyer at MARUCHAN your opinion on their product. He will be please to hear it!
  21. That is an erroneous statement.
  22. My son's first peak was Granit about 5 years ago (age 5 then). I was going to carry him but he insisted on doing it himself. He only had on tennis shoes. My poor baby. His big toe on his right foot turned black and fell off several days later. Nice.
  23. You are right, REI should have just given you a full refund and said thank you. Not all REI emplyoees know everything about everything. The problem is the clerks at the check out stand and returns really less than the average beginner. I have NEVER had any problems with any returns or repares from REI.
