  1. Skis are sold, front points are sold, and the tools are pending.
  2. Fall cleaning, paypal or cash, maybe check. Pick up in Portland or pay shipping. Make an offer! Patagoina Rain Shadow jacket mens size Medium $75 used maybe once in the rain and worn maybe 3 times. I have one pair of long G3 climbing wires and a pair of the regular size, both never used $5.00 for each set!!!!
  3. Dane- What about the new Lasportiva Batura Evo? http://www.sportiva.com/products/prod/11A you better order them up!!
  4. Jay- I love both of your trip reports, great reads for sure!! I still think climbing the col between the Rooster Comb and Huntington was crazy! I was looking at that during out trip and I seen quite a few slides on the entire face! We were luck we experianced no avalanches! Thanks for the TR's again Jay!!! Feel free to post others, I am sure you have some more cool adventures!
  5. Wfinley- The avalanche danger was a concern, but the sugar was surprisingly stable. During the steep trenching things got a bit more sketchy since their was no pro and the sugar was not inspiring confidence. The most scary moment was when Eric too a fall of the first cornices section while we were simul climbing together. The second most scary moment is after the fall I led the rest of the corniced section and a 20-25 foot wide by 40ish feet long section of the cornice broke right in front of me, I almost crapped my pants. 6. I was thinking of your TR while I was climbing, but once you rap into the second col "up is down." Looks like you and Seth had some redemption on the ice pyramid!!!
  7. Hampshire- I prefer Alaskan Summer Ale!! Do you have any cool photos from your tip? You had the right idea flying into the base of 11,300. Did you meet the two east coast guys that made the second ascent of the season?
  8. Above the grey rock bivy site was the worst of the trenching and with all seriousness I made a trench so high or I guess deep that I could not reach the top with my arm fully extended with a tool in my hand. I was forced to climb out of the trench after about two hrs of wet sugary leading. All in all it was a great learning experience.
  9. Trip: Alaska Range - Peak 11,300Date: 4/22/2010Trip Report:Here is a video I made from our trip into the Alaska Range this past April. [video:vimeo] Alaska Range Spring 2010 from Daniel Harro on Vimeo. Gear Notes:.4-#3 Camelot and #11 BD hex1 Picket4 screwsSingle rope with tag line
  10. I would look at 7mm if I were you. I went to AK this spring with a 6mm tag line and it only lasted 8-10 raps before the sheath got cut, maybe a 7mm would be more durable? It was a 6mm PMI cord. I guess it could depend on the rock and how many raps you are planning on, but I wouldnt count on it lasting too long...
  11. I will buy some...Seems like a great idea!
  12. oh I have the Cierzo 30L pack and it is nice when fully loaded but sucks when it is only half full due to the compression straps and the fact that the lid is not removable... I have 30+ days with my 30L worksac and its the pack that I would suggest....
  13. Cilo 30L worksac is all you need...
  14. I use my spinner leashes a lot on some single pitch climbs for training for the multi pitch stuff. Its more for me getting used to them and learning some of the tricks...
  15. pdk- Better to have the biner fly into his hand than the tool fly into his face.... I don't know what type of umbilicals he was using but remember that the BD ones are only rated to 450 lb. Enough to keep your tool from falling to the ground....
  16. MH compressor pant,Integral Designs pant, Patagonia Micro Puff Pant, montbell makes some as well...
