Has anyone used the Petzl dragonfly double ropes? My brother is looking at getting a pair of ropes. I have the Beal ice lines which I like, anyone out their used the Petzl ropes? thoughts, comments???

I have the x350a and used it on my last ice trip and I am sold on it! Very nice... who cares about the haul loop being small, it just needs to hold a rope or some other unnecessary equipment, not like your going to hold any body weight on it.

I have to Beal Ice Lines and I have had great luck with them!! I recomend the 70m Golden Dry.

the whole day was very Montana dry, the ice was thick, dry and took screws with ease. We used at least 1 long screw on each belay (19-21cm) plus one standard size. Oh and the trail head is at about 6,200 - 6,400 feet and we toped out at just under 10,800 feet, It was a full day...
