haha ya right, yes 6 years would be lame. Right, ok same as Canada. Ins here on my 750cc, 600 a year for basic, 3300 a year if I include comp. Thankfully I am not required to purchase comp, although I now have three locks on the thing in my secure garage. For a minute I thought I was gonna have to register my bike at a friends house in Washington for no ins plates.

Actually, not so true, true with a lease but not true with a loan. Thats why its easier to lease than to buy, less risky for the lender since as a lease its always theirs..you just give it back at the end of the term. With a loan its yours. So..can you have a bike in Washington with no insurance as the last guy said? and why would you pity the foo that took on a 3 year bike loan ?

Safety no, they are both safe, durabilty and weight yea..I have the 7.5 twins so for me to get the 8.0 halfs...not really a point..ill get the 8.5's and save a few bucks and weights ok since most times ill have a third person when I use the halfs if this is your only rope for alpine, id get the 8.0's, nice and light and beautiful rope. then on easy routes you just double it up and you hae a nice light system in the end probably not too much of a difference...about half pound

Dog bone draws can have their biner orientatd any way you want..the rigid plastic thing is the end that attaches to the rope so when you clip, the biner does not move around...you do not clip this end to the bolt or the pro..
