Jet Stix were used so you could sit back on downhill skies as "Avalmont" or butt sitting technique was popular with racers then. Folks used to tape a bunch of tongue depressors together and stick them in the back of the boot. Later they made boots real high in the back. People were sitting back so far that they lost control and could not turn, while racers only did it while ending a turn and did not mind losing control. With your weight back the front of your skies would jet our like passing a finish line, if you were not experienced you would land on your ass. The fad lasted a year or so in the 70's.

Some Judges are on an extreme power trip. I know because I practice exclusively in Federal Court. Unfortunately, you are pretty muck screwed as an appeal costs K's and the Circuit usually upholds the Judges unless you can prove they were taking bribes or buggering a clerk in chambers.

If you are going to all that trouble why not put in an old cell phone and something to make a surprise :: and punish the thief at your leisure.

In the description in Don't Waste your time in the NC there is described a tagline going down to the creek after about 3 mi.. To me it seems she got thirsty and headed down there for a drink then got hung up in Devils Club and Slide Alder. Probably was afraid to drink creek water from all the filter propaganda. I have been down Access and a bit of Luna and know it is slow painful going especially if solo, and I am not a 120 lb 31 yr. old. Ask not for whom the bell tolls....

A large portion of drug company research is oriented toward making variants of preexisting drugs which can either be patented or which avoid other companies patents.

"Cracking" is a chemical reaction. it takes exactly as much energy to separate H From H2O as you get burning H2 with O2 to form H2O. Energy barriers control how fast reactions take place not how much energy is required. Desktop computers do not violate conservation of matter or the laws of thermodynamics. We still do not have perpetual motion or "water" engines. And actually they did not laugh at Newton, Edison or Einstein but they did laugh at Bozo the clown.

The earliest concrete plan for the formation of a new world organization was begun under the aegis of the U.S. State Department late in 1939. The name United Nations was coined by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt in 1941 to describe the countries fighting against the Axis. It was first used officially on Jan. 1, 1942, when 26 states joined in the Declaration by the United Nations, pledging themselves to continue their joint war effort and not to make peace separately. The need for an international organization to replace the League of Nations was first stated officially on Oct. 30, 1943, in the Moscow Declaration, issued by China, Great Britain, the United States, and the USSR. At the Dumbarton Oaks Conference (Aug.–Oct., 1944), those four countries drafted specific proposals for a charter for the new organization, and at the Yalta Conference (Feb., 1945) further agreement was reached. All the states that had ultimately adhered to the 1942 declaration and had declared war on Germany or Japan by Mar. 1, 1945, were called to the founding conference held in San Francisco (Apr. 25–June 26, 1945). Drafted at San Francisco, the UN charter was signed on June 26 and ratified by the required number of states on Oct. 24 (officially United Nations Day). The General Assembly first met in London on Jan. 10, 1946. It was decided to locate the UN headquarters in the E United States. In Dec., 1946, the General Assembly accepted the $8.5 million gift of John D. Rockefeller, Jr., to buy a tract of land along the East River, New York City, for its headquarters. The principal buildings there, the Secretariat, the General Assembly, and the Conference Building, were completed in 1952. The Dag Hammarskjöld Memorial Library was dedicated in 1961.

Uhh bit mistaken there unless you are talking about NATO UN was started to fight the Nazi's and Japan USSR was a founding member along with UK, US and China then ran by KMT. Only time it fought commies was in Korea when the USSR stupidly boycotted under Stalin.

It is a disservice to retarded folks to call Bush retarded. He is not retarded he is ignorant and lazy. When one is retarded there is no ability to learn. Bush willfully resists learning and is proud of it, his supporters sneer at learning and learned people. From his standpoint he does not have to learn and his life has confirmed this. After all he was (ellected) it is not his fault it is ours.
