Buckley was quite unlike the current crop. He did not cut others off and preferred to let them make fools of them selves. He did not bully and was unafraid of taking on those who disagreed with him in a neutral forum. He did not mock and preferred a battle of ideas to decibels. I doubt if we will see his like again, as he was a poor propagandist and turned off the ignorant and uninformed, the base of any would be demagogue.
