Nixon, JFK, Ford were politicians. Carter,Clinton and Reagan were governors. Bush 2 was a drunkard nerdowell son of a political family. Bush 1 CIA director and VP. All the present cantidates are politicians. The argument is a nonstarter.

The truth comes out: Georgia Republican Rep. Lynn Westmoreland used the racially-tinged term "uppity" to describe Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama Thursday. Westmoreland was discussing vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin's speech with reporters outside the House chamber and was asked to compare her with Michelle Obama. "Just from what little I’ve seen of her and Mr. Obama, Sen. Obama, they're a member of an elitist-class individual that thinks that they're uppity," Westmoreland said. Asked to clarify that he used the word “uppity,” Westmoreland said, “Uppity, yeah.”

Seeing as they brought her on as a "pitbull with lipstick" and proudly displayed her family as role models. They deserve anything they get in return, although Obama is to dignified to stoop to their level.

The real relevance of the issue is not Levi,Bristol or even Sarah. The major function of a president is to make appointments including Judges, Cabinet,U.S. Attorneys and heads of Administrative Agencies. This shows that John McCain will make those appointments on the basis of politics without adequate research. Exactly what has been going on for the last 7 years.
