I went. No TR - another routefinding failure.
There is snow in the gulley to needle pass and it is mostly continuous to the notch. It's pretty hard stuff, even when we descended in the afternoon. I had aluminum crampons which worked fine. We rapped down the top part to speed things up, and had to face in for all of the steep stuff.
Routefinding failure? How so?
We used this one:

We never saw the cannon-hole or belay ledges.
If you approach Flapjack Lakes, I'd love to know how your climb jibes with the description linked above.

i am sure your parents or grandparent are really proud of you asshole. yeah- fuck them!
They respected and loved the nation they came to, rather than shit on it - unlike you, you worthless fuckwad.
we can cancel our Blue Angel program and invite the Canucks to fly at Seafair, thereby saving our pilots' lives, some $$, and since Canadians aren't terrorists (WE ARE!!!), it's a win-win. why, even the moonbats will be happy (not possible).

From the official Blue Angels web site FAQ:
** What is the difference between a Blue Angel Hornet and the new F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet?
The Super Hornet is 25% larger, can fly 40% further, remain on station 80% longer and carry more weapons than its predecessors. The Super Hornet F/A-18 E/F models have deployed with battle groups since 2001. This aircraft is the Navy’s newest acquisition and its advanced technology will be used to carry the fleet into the 21st century.
** Will the Blue Angels fly the Super Hornet?
The decision to transition to the Super Hornet has yet to be determined.
I just noticed your sig.
I stand corrected. I still don't think they are an image of war.
I disagree with the premise of this thread, but I have to say that I see the Blue Angels as an exhibition of US military might, and, yes, an image of war.
I used to regularly attend the air shows at Moffett Field in the Bay Area which featured the Blue Angels (which flew A-4 aircraft at that time). I've only seen the Seafair show once in the last 16 years. I generally avoid crowds and events like Seafair, and it is of course prime time to be climbing not getting stuck in traffic on Mercer Island.
The Blue Angels are not permitted to break the sound barrier during their shows. I'd like to see one of those planes do a fly by at low altitude and full throttle.
There's nothing more black and white than the original post in this thread.
Your words not mine, nor my beliefs. Guess you're the one with the simplistic worldview, preferring to pidgeon-hole and project opinions than deal with real people rather than cardboard cutouts.
And if those "others" are living here, then they can STFU or go home. That was the question posed in the thread - what do refuges living here who may be "victims" of US "terror" think of us. Fuck them.
