I know where you could borrow a jimmi for practice.

I know an old viking who would do it for half the price, teach them all they want to learn, and offer a free beer afterwords.

Nearly every war on earth is evidence that humans believe in mass killing. My humble opinion.

I have anziety attacks, take some generic prozac crap and it works well. Probably makes me a better person at the same time, who knows.

My advice, "fight every ticket!" Unless of course it is unreasonably inconvienent (other state.) I taught my high school class to fight tickets last year, and they won 3 for 3! Two they had to win on appeal, but they won all of them. I guarentee they will fight every ticket from now on.

I think people are easier to understand if we view ourselves as animals. Animals often try to kill entire packs of other animals for whatever reason of the day seems to work (protecting property, food, perceived threat, ...).I believe that if you look throughout human history you will find the mass killings, and it being seen as acceptable throughout most of history. "We", meaning many today, still view mass killing as acceptable, based upon religion, perceived threat, perceived superiority. i.e., Let's bomb Iran!

I think it all comes down to legal ethics. Is gonzo more interested in law and justice or is he interested in helping the guy who put him there? Seems an obvious answer, and not what I would look for in the head of the justice dept.

Start with Knots and and a good set of Balls. When the wallet allows, buy some nuts, then cams, then hexes, then start adding the specialty stuff that you will by then know you want.

I hesitate to tell Knottygirl how much I like women in uniforms. Does the forest service issue handcuffs?

And the cold leaves the back door so puckered and tight that you cannot fart for a day. Makes me think about putting a snow machine in the bathroom at home.

Minihaha science experiment
high_on_rock replied to high_on_rock's topic in Central/Eastern Washington
sandblast away buddy. We can always restart the project at a later date, we are just testing some science ideas. as is, she should have a good idea of how well her idea will work in a few weeks. E -
I prefer snow over anything else. I will leave a fully stocked outhouse to get a pile of snow. The best.

Any low back surgery success stories???
high_on_rock replied to kweb's topic in Fitness and Nutrition Forum
I had lower back problems for nearly thirty years, sometimes haveing to use crutches or a walker, sometimes stuck on the floor for days. Two years ago I bought an inversion table to hang upsidedown. Four months later I was basically pain free. rarely ahve any issues anymore, when I do I hang a couple days (basically about one minute per day) and I am fine again. May not work for everyone, but the best money I ever spent. -
They are comfortable.

My little Emily, in an effort to win the coveted Finch Elementary Science Fair for the third time in four years, will be conducting an experiment trying to grow moss over some of the graffiti at Mini for the next few weeks. She will be working on the West end of the front face, so if you see a bunch of mud smeared on the rock over some graffiti, please do not mess with it. She is going to start by trying to cover that big red heart, wish her luck.

networksolutions.com I got the recommendation from my number one geek, and it has served me well

I am a pretty non-violent person, but love the sport. MMA has safer statistics than boxing, football, ... What a beautiful sport, my kids and I love to watch.

Wow, you look at the skill it takes to pull off the mt bike ride in the video; then you watch ESPN and they show someong getting thrown out at second base as the sports highlight of the day. Mainstream sports media is missing the boat.

Anyone can be an idiot and ride a motorcycle fast in traffic; that is just showing the willingness to die and put other's lives in danger. It is those crazy folks on mt bikes that are amazing. True comitment on some of those jumps, and the only life they are risking is their own. I will stick to safer sports like unroped solo climbing and leave the mt biking to crazy f'rs with a death wish. I truly admire watching their sport, but I am far too chickenchit to do it myself.

Nice thread folks. The conversation has covered numerous angles of different viewpoints, and all has remained civil; wow, that is what our right to free speech is all about. I think the argument can be summarized by the vagueness of what exactly is an “essential liberty?” Every day we have 6.2 kazillion (with a “k”) students in school, and this year 32 were killed; not bad odds. Although I have no research to back it up, I would believe that far more students die outside of school than in school, thereby suggesting that our schools are pretty safe places to be. I would also suggest that other concepts kill far more people each year than does the right to be armed; religion, transportation, fast food, the right to smoke, and our selective health care system. I like Bills comments about the right to gun ownership being for political freedom; I assume that during a traffic stop I have less likelihood of being abused by some jerk cop if he knows that I am legally armed. This thread started with the dispute over the privacy of mental health records. I am against the death penalty based on the mere fact that our imperfect legal system does not determine true guilt, and I hate taking the right to life away from someone whom we really do not know committed the crime. My problem with taking rights away from “mentally ill” people would be a similar argument. Any time the government is going to take away a right -- through laws, by declaring me a criminal or declaring me mentally ill -- I suggest extreme caution. These rights are to protect me from the government, I don’t like the government being able to take those protections away.

Mine are completely black on the outside, not one of the bright colors as are some; thus only noticable if you look. The feel is like walking barefoot, with a thin pad under to keep thr sharp gravel and stuff from hurting as much. I can still feel everything on the ground as though I was barefoot, but it does not hurt. They say to ease into wearing them so that your feet have time to adjust. I of course wore them most of yesterday, and ran a mile (with my 6 year old son, so the pace was slow). They felt great all day yesterday, but when I put them on today my toes are somewhat tender, not used to having stuff surrounding each toe. Overall, I think I am going to like them. The one aspect that I did not expect, is that they are nearly erotic on the toes. It is almost like putting each individual toe in it's own banana hammic. Kind of an odd and unexpected feeling. And walking in them, you feel enough to actually have sensations in your feet, rather than just forget yoiu have feet. Cool stuff. Like sherri, I love feet! E

Come on Layton, use your medical knowledge and lets create a self-liposuction system. Instead of Botox parties, we could have fat-suckn parties (all the pizza and ice cream you can eat while we suck the fat back out). We have all seen it on TV, it doesn’t look that hard or that complicated. A guy could rig a portable system, travel around with it and finance a dirtbag roadtrip. Heck, medical insurance would pay half (the half consisting of getting wounds patched up in the emergency room. We make the holes, and insurance pays the emergency room to patch the holes.) We could even convert the car engine into a fat-burner to conserve fuel. Any of you medical types out there into helping with this idea? edit: then as a joke, when Sherri falls asleep we could inject her with some fat and make her run it off; then inject her again... re-edit: I never should have allowed the thought of injecting Sherri while she sleeps enter my head, now I am distracted in thoughts...

I wish donating fat was as easy as donating blood. I would be a constant giver. Can we produce a "home liposuction" self-help kit? A shop vac and a small pipe? Anyone out there want to practice their WFR skills in a strange way?
