  1. 1. aiders and a fifi hook will make the bolt ladder easy 2. pretty sure you need 2 60m ropes for the rappel 3. aiders & a fifi hook; don't bother with jumars
  2. yeah, cha cha cha, especially the downtown location...get the relleno burrito. it won't make you sick either.
  3. those boots aren't adequate. your feet will get cold and wet. rent some plastic boots. I never had any trouble with blisters in plastics but I've known people who got severe blisters and even chafing on their shins wearing them

  6. I'll just second what jlag said. I was up in Jefferson Park yesterday and the schrund is monstrous-looking.

  13. The easiest way to get to the top of the summit block as I recall is all the way to the right, like the SE corner maybe? It's much easier than 5.6, more like 4.10b. I think it takes smaller stoppers, don't remember using anything very big, except a large hex for a belay anchor at the bottom. Of course my memory isn't very good. Take a double set of camalots and you'll be fine.

  16. Washington conditions are perfect right now - go for it. Middle Sister via the Hayden Glacier (east side) is nice. Use the Pole Creek TH - not sure if it the road's clear up there now.
