  2. I'm sure that Everest Basecamp will never be the same... This woman has the game wired! Those poor, frustrated, climbers...they are powerless in the face of her charms. Even D. B. was trying to hit that thing! This will no doubt end in tragedy.
  3. "Ahh, these steel chains( rated to 10,000 pounds) are no good... I'll fix it with this single carabiner! Perfect.

I was thinking a .308 and a little ice chest full of cool drinks and treats. Hike on up to a good vantage point, say 100 yards out...and hunker down. Just have yourself an enjoyable sitdown. Read, eat, just enjoing the day. When the crackheads show up, have pity, as they are sick. You can't kill the poor bastards, just put one thru their engine block and call 911. (This is the part where it helps to aready be a law enforcement officer)
  8. a Check this out! re you guys for hire? I have a couple of projects...
  9. How far do you take "No knowledge of the route"? I say stare at it all you want, know the grade, but do not watch anyone climb the line or receive any beta.
  10. Sounds like you are "a finder." I am also a finder. My secret? pick up garbage...lots of it. Remember that #1 friend you lost,.. where is that little wire? or that #4 that your girlfriend got stuck? You will be happy to know that they live in a safe home. I have bootied dozens of cams, wires, carabiners and slings. I am sure many of you have as well. Booty is separated into 3 catagories: 1. Stuck (Abandoned). the best kind, esp. when freshly abandoned. -Don't bother with mank bootie, leave it or throw it away. Bonus points for ugly slings. Pink?... what were they thinking? 2. Lost. second best. habitat? rocky and bushy areas. Wires are the primary ground score, as their modest profile hides them wherever they fall. digging in the bushes is not as cool as plucking from the vine...but whatever. 3.Dropped. The worst... survey the scene, one pitch or more? where did it fall? dirt or rocks? use your better judgement. What is your personal best bootie score?

I wrapped my gloved hands with 2 inch stick-on VELCRO strips. This stuff is 20 feet by 2 inches wide. very sticky, we use it a work. Wrap hands with the "hook" side. Cover palms throughly. ala' tape gloves, but cover the fingers as well... find carpeted wall, stick hands to wall and climb. Good gloves are a must.

  15. "Girl, is that a weave?" Damn! Barbie is looking like a 'HO! My friends, forgive my spelling, I am... publicly educated.
  16. What is the deal with hiding your idenity? Nobody cares who you really are, as we all are addicted together. Put down the bong, open up the curtains, and join the rest of us... up here on the surface.

  21. The value of reconnance is priceless. Hold off on buying that lift ticket, new widget or bag of weed and rent an airplane. Be ready, fly with a extra pair of underwear..cause chances are,.. you will shit your pants after seeing 10 "new" projects. A good digital camera is a must.
  22. I feel like I missed something when I play with Terraserver. I should have worked for the Dept. of Defense or CIA...."Sir, our boys have found what appears to be talus, and you know what that means..."

  24. I used to live in Calico Basin. One night a fleeting winter snow storm hit the basin, we went for a hike out to the old foundation. We heard the helicopter before we saw it. The chopper was black with no running lights, flying so low that it's shadowy outline blended in with the ground. They flew right at us, banking a big turn over the boulders and it was gone.. You just gotta love that stuff.
