  7. Stainless is not always the shit...too rigid! 1/16" is just easier to find and will still do the trick.
  8. Do NOT cut the spring steel when you reswage the new trigger assembly together. take your C-7's(wire rope cutters) and chew the old swage off. then reattach the new trigger wires on. CBS, the trigger is non loadbearing, so the breaking strength of trigger wire is a non issue. some 1/16" 7x19 ought to do the trick My buddy had a #4 that had a cord trigger, the original trigger got mangled when it fell off El cap... that #4 was his only cam and we brought it every climb, just in case. .
  9. Sounds like you need to hire the Spokane Mountaineers... they have a sandblaster.
  10. Trad is punk.
  11. Whatever. Punk was very improtant to many of us. I had a great family, middle class everything. That did not change the fact that there were 10 skateboarders/punks in my hometown. Punk was our way of telling our whole town to fuck off. When I started to listen to punk, It gave us the courage to stand up for myself in a redneck world. A place where you recieved a beating for just being different. We took our licks, and in the end... kids were free to express themselves as freaks, stoners, fags or punks. Jello, wherever you are, thanks.

  18. Or do you mean the skiable couloir on the south side of EWS? A classic part of the birthday tour...the cornice in the bowl above is a great drop. My buddy Elan did about a 60 footer over the rocks on the skier's left. I remember that's where I first saw climbers... We watched Armond and Tim Wilson solo the south spire, then ski a sick line thru the cliffs skiers left of the mentioned couloir. Armond slid all the snow off part of the chute and had to ski it out , sans snow!
