The article is very clear on "diagnosed cases". The incidence of diagnosed cases will be higher in countries with adequate health care systems.

This is interesting. I heard a piece on NPR about science being usurped by popular culture. This was one of the examples given in the discussion. Scientists are too busy working on real work to take time to debate the misinformation on the net. If you want the truth, you should be looking at peer reviewed medical journals, not reading a website that anyone could have authored. On the other hand, it is good that you are taking responsibility for chemicals that you ingest. Think about that next time you take a swig of a beer, wine, or any other alcoholic beverage and you notice that there is no ingredient list.

Funny thing - I met a couple in J-tree last week. The "Zoo" film makers used their farmhouse as the main set for the movie. Granted, the could have been bullshitting me but they did not seem the type.

Why not a C4? Orange is a 0.5 or 0.75, right?

Bummer on the injury. It was fun climbing/eating/drinking/farting with you in So Cal. I should have more pics of the trip, but I spent too much time climbing and drooling over the routes.

I wouldn't say I hate my Bibler, but I think there are better bivy sacks available. I have wide shoulders, so getting in and out with only one zip across the top is a bitch.

It's only because you are incapable of keeping your mouth shut when you don't have anything worth while to say.

I don't know, but I really hope they do a little more copy editing than the many folks in spray. I never really appreciated how well the folks here typed until I burned my retinas with the Hood thread.

Chemists have amazing Physics skills? Huh, didn't know that. Did you miss all the neat threads in the Newbies forum regarding static loading of anchors and the best knot for tying a coconut to your johnson? -
This thread got moved to spray? Really? I never saw that coming...

I'm part of the "and Co" with the Catbird and Co, but I want to make it clear that this does not make me his bitch. Hey, I might hold a rope while he climbs, but it's not like I owe him anything, ok. I haven't been lurking in the shadows, fawning over his amazing physics skills and knot tying skills. Get me? Yeah, ok then. I will be there from 12/27-1/2. Look for the ridiculous van and a tall bearded, tattoo-ed, pierced guy. -

Eeek! I just pooped my pants a little. I went to REI to rent some snowshoes for an outing with the ladyfriend and saw the $30 new style zeros. I showed restraint and only bought two sets. snoogins -

fenderfour replied to Peter_Puget's topic in Spray
Igor Cavalera - Tribal/metal badassedness Beauford Carter - You may hate DMB, but this guy can drum Jimmy Chamberlin - I hate Smashing Pumpkins, but this guy can drum Dave Lombardo - THE metal drummer Pete Sandoval - The fastest double bass pedal in the world Roy Mayorga - More cool modern/tribal fusions -
Ok, I found it: http://www.rockbox.org/ The truly open source MP3 player: http://makezine.com/daisy/ A music service that doesn't DRM you to death: http://www.emusic.com/gift/index.html

FYI - there are some DIY replacements for the Ipod firmware that remove all of the DRM bullshit. I don't think it works for the shuffle, but it's there for Nano's and the newer Ipods.
