Is there a link to this story or can you share it? I've only seen one rope come apart. Dude lived. .... Barely.
-
BTW, mine showed up and they rate VERY high on the fondling scale. Can't wait until I can get out and actually plug em in.
-
Say what? If you need any distant relatives to show up and accept hand-me- downs let me know cause I'll apply.

One more reason they should allow hunting with dawgs. Now that, I tell you, would be some serious sport.

Thats terrible. If he could detail it for us, we can all look for it on craiglist and ebay. BTW, I have taken a magic marker and marked a lot of my cams and stuff so that there is a small chance in hell of getting it retured if this horrible thing ever happens.

John and Marcus: nice rants, soooo on the money. Good job on the good samariton act too. You dudes rule.

Sounds like the man got angry, but did he actually threaten you? He certainly didn't harm you. You would have had no justification to do anything to him, really, much less shoot him. You do have a right to run through a park without being attacked by a dog. That's what civil suits and laws are for, both of which you could have levied on the man had you chosen to do so. Had he actually threatened you, that is a crime also. Off leash fines in Seattle are $500; enough to make any dog owner think twice about letting aggropoodle run around free again. But you chose to do none of the above, so the jerk's probably still out there, messing with joggers. Next time you have a run in with a similar prick, and it sounds like he was every bit of that, I'd suggest doing something about it legally to stop the behavior rather than endulging in Dirty Harry fantasies. Carry a cell, and be ready to lower the boom when needed. why don't you replace CBS in the above scenario, and put one of your kids, under the age of 7 in that picture...or your wife...I woulda pulled the trigger on the dog...fuck your lawsuit... If you weren't so fat you could just wrastle them down to the ground and grind their face into the dirt til they come up with a cauliflower ear. why you gotta be so mean? Its in her blood and because she is a raging bitch. That's a lot of quotin there fella:-)

When you can literally fly there is no need for guns.

Good to hear it Hech. Keep on it and keep your spirits up dude. Nice to have buddies who care so much they're with you through thick and thin. Your recovery must be coming along a bit?

Pink, you got over that last one in record time. .07 seconds. Congrats:-) BTW, I think many of the alledged "chics" who post on this site are really dudes, so be careful as most of their real names are "Lola". ("Well Im not dumb but I can't understand Why she walked like a woman and talked like a man Oh my lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola") The problem with some of us and relationships is that we get sucked into it by looks then figure out the personality the hard way. But what really matters long term is personality first and then looks, not the reverse. So, if you can define the kind of woman whom you want around you for a long time by persoanality traits, then mosey in and meet a bunch...the rest of it gets easy: instead of the reverse where it starts easy and ends hard. My long suffering wife has been stuck with the same dude now for 27+ years for example. Good luck.

diet, mountaineering, and bogus rock climber?
billcoe replied to Jens's topic in Fitness and Nutrition Forum
You seem to have gotten quite the mix of good and bad responses. You might be aware that Messner, who use to be a kick-assed rock climber, one of the best in Europe, totally gave it up to focus on big mountains. He felt that the muscles he worked in rock climbing hindered him in the Mt's. But he didn't have a job, just climbing. As far as those things keeping you a "bogus rock climber". I have a longer list than that and they involve being a committed business owner (2) and committed father (2) and everything in between. I would much rather be a shitty climber (but safe) and a great father than the reverse. So I prioritise and work at what are at the top of the list. Climbing isn't on the top or even near it. So the result is I suck as a rockclimber? Don't care. I have MY priorities - for ME, straight. Thats speaking for me only. Sometimes it's a bit wistful walking past a difficult route and remembering leading it onsight, no hangs or falls: and knowing that I wouldn't have a chance in hell of getting on it now 25 years later. But those moments are rare (happened last weekend to me at Smith = Sunshine diheadral) Maybe a self ascessment of what is important to you might first be in order? Then proceeding would be clearer for you? I don't think others can tell you this, it must come from within. Good luck jens. -
Obviously not listening to Tom Leykis. Get on this Andrew. Get more tail for less money link

Sounds like you guys must have worn him out. Either that or maybe he also got Strep B from all the crap we all flung at him online. He did mention that he had that Bursitius/swollen elbow. Maybe we all just need to play nicer? -
J.C. Dude, sorry: didn't realize it was so serious. Get outta there soon !
-
Hey Oly, if things don't work out for ya can I have yer cams? AWWWW come on, the rest of you were all thinking it.

Dude, you gotta post a separate thread so people (my partners) can buy those damn OP cams. It's an amazing price. Hey, I just went to fetch the link and no link or cams showed! Shite! Fortunatly I have 3 coming. Proving only once again that if you snooze- you do lose.

Just curious. Sure I've been drinking but I have a head cold. Anyone else notice how Friggan slow it is?

We did a bunch of routes Sat and were in the area. We talked some to you guys as a couple of the routes we did (First Kiss and also West Face variation to Bohn Street on Monkey) were in your area. Did I hear you say C2 for East Face? Nice pics BTW, thanks for sharing. -
