  1. Hey mec, if you do try it out, then set the ads to Google text ads, you will barely notice them...
  2. Would like to get an idea of how many are planning to go this w/e?
  3. Give Opera a go, you may find that you actually feel like paying for it... especially once you spend a day dowwnloading extensions to make FF as useful as Opera... (Oops starting to harp...)
  4. Opera>>>Firefox>>>IE That said I think that Opera or FF are both way better choices, and I won't harp on you for choosing FF over Opera, though I can't imagine why you would want to. There are reams of back and forth over this very question in blogs and forums all over the net. Basically you will find that people are zealots, and that both browsers are very good alternatives. 5. Most of it, the last time I was there. There was a thread on this a while back, try a search.
  6. So wrong you are... Banana Peel is all about style.
  7. The Bugs have an average snowpack this year, AFAIK. I have had good luck at the first week of August, and imagine that late July would also be nice. I think I will be going around that time if I make it up there this year.

    Could it be?

    LOL LOL
  9. I'm thinking heating ductwork... maybe for some of the rear seat heater vents?
  10. I might sound like a broken record, but try this: www.opera.com Disable images for faster browsing (press G), and the caching behaviour should also speed up your experience. Then right click and "Load image" for any pics you wanna see. Check the Opera Support forums for more suggestions on speeding up dial-up performance. Firefox might work too, I haven't tried it, but a lot of tests show opera to be the fastest browser.
  11. It's snowing again...
  12. I like this site too, because you can get the topo maps, and the sat photos as well... at least for BC. Widowmaker again
  13. Well, it's obviously the N face of something at N50.920944, W124.273567 and NW of Squamish. Another picture here.
  14. I have a Yashica T4 SuperD. I have been jealous of the smallness of the Epics for sure. I have never been dissapointed by the photo quality of the Yashica. Even shooting slide film in tricky conditions (ie snow, into the sun...) it usually nails the exposure. It's pretty tough.
  15. Or you can leave it with me for safe keeping...
  16. I prefer WA drivers to BC drivers, at least they are fairly obvious about WTF they are going to do. I feel less likely to be suprised by some dork at 95 on the I5, then I do at 80 on the TCH.
  17. yay!!! Why does fern get 4 more beers? are you trying to say my friend is an alkie? :mistaht:
  18. Should we extend that to the Coast Guard too? Maybe ambulance as well? How about police forces while we're at it. I mean we all know it's risky walking alone in dark alleys...
  19. Do you have to pay extra to get that pretty helicopter with all the stars on it?
  20. Hmmm...
  21. I didn't ski.
  22. It sounds like it is not what you want, although it might have limited editing capability. I think it is for making interactive websites and the like... try here: http://www.videohelp.com/edit for some "basics"
  23. Another handy link, good for finding quick info and lat-longs of towns to input to the above sites... fallingrain.com
  24. Perhaps virgins have lots of (moral) fiber?
