  1. Yeah, but if you start drinking on Saturday night it counts as a birthday drunk after midnight, doesn't it??? Happy B-day old guy.
  2. SCS - lots of fun. Should not be a bomb. SCC via Backsack, also fun. Make sure to do it in boots.
  3. Latest report I heard was that they were at 18,000', I guess it was some sloppy conversioning.
  4. Just heard Tim Jones on CBC - Apparently the climbers are at ~6000m, temps about -25 to -30*C They are members of a team that is making the climb to celebrate the 40th anniversary of North Shore SAR.
  5. Damn you guys I am so JEALOUS!!!!!!!! Have a blast, schralp some corn for me, and take lots of pics.
  6. Yes it does.
  7. It took like 2 hours just to do the shading... clicky clicky here.
  8. If they gonna jug, then have them jug the lead rope. Saves the swing, saves them trying to grab the draws form 15' away. That's how it's usually done on an aid route. Otherwise, I add another vote in favour of the W Side variation. I would have the 2nd aid the bolts on belay from above. If you give them tension as they do it, the whole thing will be over before you have time to think about the next lead.
  9. Hot link theirs.

    OH THE DRAMA!

They should have formed a coalition with the Work Less Party and the Sex Party, then they might have garnered a little more support!
  11. Aren't the Petzl Longlife harder to chop than a standard bolt? That's what seems to be working at Burgers and Fries.
  12. Make it happen then... Hope your all having fun. Expect lots of pics of the debauchery...
  13. Dildo, Newfoundland, not in the Cascades though.
  14. Freeze dried guidebooks, now here's a market! 1/2 the weight! Just add water...
  15. Yeah, a Spring alpine camp might be a nice thing to do.
  16. Sorry guys, lack of interest, and a poor weather forecast have convinced us that we should pul the plug.
  17. Sorry Guys, due to lack of interest, and a poor weather forecast... there will be no Ski-In this year.
  18. For a product that works way better... Kind of like buying BD Stoppers instead of using machine nuts...
  19. Hey mec, if you do try it out, then set the ads to Google text ads, you will barely notice them...
  20. Would like to get an idea of how many are planning to go this w/e?
  21. Give Opera a go, you may find that you actually feel like paying for it... especially once you spend a day dowwnloading extensions to make FF as useful as Opera... (Oops starting to harp...)
  22. Opera>>>Firefox>>>IE That said I think that Opera or FF are both way better choices, and I won't harp on you for choosing FF over Opera, though I can't imagine why you would want to. There are reams of back and forth over this very question in blogs and forums all over the net. Basically you will find that people are zealots, and that both browsers are very good alternatives. 23. Most of it, the last time I was there. There was a thread on this a while back, try a search.
  24. So wrong you are... Banana Peel is all about style.
  25. The Bugs have an average snowpack this year, AFAIK. I have had good luck at the first week of August, and imagine that late July would also be nice. I think I will be going around that time if I make it up there this year.
