Apologies for bluntness and all, but that sounds retarded to me... Why not just tie the rope to your harness normally and then tie the b-on-a-b when you get to the anchor? it takes all of about 12.73 seconds to tie one. I guess if it works for you that's cool and all... BTW-blake, the b-on-a-b is easy to equalize properly between two points if it is tied as below:

I went form driving Mega Bangs (basically a XXX) with the same boots, 2-buckle T-2s, to the bumblebee T1. I have not looked back... I don't mind the extra weight of the T1 for day trips, but I have not ditched the old T2 yet, as I think they are good for multi day stuff.

I was skiing on Thursday, and you weren't. The line rocked, but the snow was only so so. some windcrust, some pow, and some dust on crust. If we ever get stable powpow this line would be so sick! Still it was a blast.

OK, one day on them so far... some random thoughts: -Wow, easy to mount, only four screws, no heel piece, good template. -Hmm, these "95mm" brakes are having a bit of a hard time fitting these 90mm skis, have to bend 'em a bit. -Easy to get out of. the toe bar doesn't seem to hold on to your boots like the G3 does. -I bought these partially so I could click out when doing ski patrol duties, and so far that seems to be a reasonable way of working. Now I am no longer feeling that I am might not be keeping up with the guys and gals on alpine. Even with the brakes it seems easy to get in and out. We'll have to wait and see if this is cool in powpow or no. -The climbing lifter gets a bit in the way when walking around with the binding on your foot, but I guess they aren't really designed to be used this way. -They ski differently than the G3, but not much. I think they are slightly more active. I also have them mounted about an inch forward of where my old bindings were (on boot center now, instead of pinline/CC) so that may account for some of the different feel. -I can feel lumps through the soles of my boot! this is with Scarpa T1s... -I had to turn the DIN down about 1 notch to be able to twist out of them... this seems to agree with a lot of people's experience. No prerelease yet... -They seem like a well built piece of gear., but they look quite complicated. -There is no way to clip the heels down like the G3 has. I liked this for shouldering my skis during short boot packs. -The hole pattern interferes with the G3 pattern, so you will have to move your mounting position if you are switching between these bindings.

Cerise, like most huts, has table and benches (also has a woodstove but this is not as universal), and a counter, You will want to bring cookinig and sleeping gear. I usually bring a tent to Cerise as it is often busy, and it is first come first sleep. There is also a donation system in place for the maintenance of Cerise... Make sure you check the range as part of checking it out. Shake it around a bit, make sure no lose connections. Most manufacturers put a maufacture date on the beacon somewhere, and most seem to reccomend replacing or at least factory testing the units after 5 years. Make sure you are buying something relatively recent, defientely not an old dual frequency. The other issue is frequency drift, which means that it is not transmitting on exactly 457 any more. This can show up as a reduction in transmitting range, but some modern beacons will have a hard time picking up a unit that is too far out of range. So, if you know what to look for, then yes it is a good way to save money. -

You might wanna get that memory checkd out... Basically the present Liberal Government thought it would be a good way to get elected, if they promised to end the photo radar program. You are mistaken (or perhaps your history teacher misinformed you), but you can brush up on things here. Canada is a sovereign nation with no ties to the British Government since the Canada Act was passed in 1982. How is it then that the Government of the time went to the Queen to get permission to install an extra senator or two in order to insure that the GST was passed??? We need murraysovereign to weigh in here... Funny that the link you suggested says this: Doesn't seem to support your argument.

Close... If the purple line was shock cord, and it went around the heel and then down and through the tube underfoot, and then you put a strap with a snap buckle (triangle thingy) over the arch of your foot, you could snap them on and off real easy like... Gosh I am so glad I don't use those anymore...
