I've been getting out plenty. I realize there is plenty of differnt things I can be doing, but the fact is I'll call a cigar a cigar. This winter sucks ass. It isn't very good for skiing most of the time, it isn't very good for ice climbing most of the time, etc. etc. etc. Am I making do? Hell yeah. Will I continue to make due and bitch at the same time? Hell yeah.

I'll be honest, I love the winter, but after this piece of crap that we call winter, I think I'm looking forward to wearing shorts and pretty spring and summer alpine approaches.

Yes, the 15 hours is way to much, that's ridiculous. expedia maps says 11:15 which is more realistic. the 9 hour time took good use of the fact that um, "my friends" had a car that was built for the autobahn and thus had no complaints doing 100+ from snowshitty pass to spokane

If you are looking to buy a new gizmo, I've loved the MP3 player I picked up last year for clmbing and skiing. I find it's a better weight for taking in the alpine and the no moving parts is less likely to get broken.
