  1. hyperbole. Fine, maybe so, but I'd hardly consider them a reasonable glove if you are actually going to be out in the elements much with them when it's cold. Maybe others have had different experiences, but I was definitely let down.

    Sierra logging

No, he's a fucking asshole and he's not afraid to show it. He'll cave in to any industry willing to back him and his chronies with money. First oil, now logging...
  3. Wow, . Best of luck Erden.
  4. jja, no problems with the seems on my iec flow gloves. About the sealskinz, the REI here in seattle carries them. I bought a pair, used them once, they sucked, and REI got them back. Maybe they'd be good for wet and warm conditions but they offered nothing in terms of insulation when it got cold.
  5. Good pics Dru. thanks for posting
  6. Tell your friend you'll take up a nice 8,000 foot peak and make it Johannesburg. Then see what he thinks of his 14ers back home.
  7. jhamaker and I beat our ways up the NE ridge this summer. As you say Matt, it truly is a brush bash down low. It was certainly good alpine fun however. I remember this one nice chimney move up between a not-very-featureful vertical rock and a heavily branched pine tree.
  8. Yup, I've got a pair of those. very good dexterity and very comfortable.
  9. me?
  10. Legit maybe, but he's still spamming. Once would be enough. Instead we get tons of them and he doesn't even reply to the response he gets, but rather just spams again. Trust me, I feel for the people of pakistan, but until they get some semblance of a government and I'm not at risk of being beheaded I'll climb elsewhere.
  11. In case you guys haven't figured it out yet , this is about the 10th time this guy has spammed us and I am seriously doubting he is even real. as dru pointed out, he has been spamming other climbing related boards.
  12. I'd like information on climbing the mountains on your sister's chest.
  13. Yeah, I'll second a beer bong greamlin. also, if we could find a pot'teryx smoking greamlin that would be pretty amusing
  14. LOL klenke. I know somebody who lives down there so I was hoping they'd get that
  15. Rocksanyone, the problem this year isn't so much geting an ice partner, but the fact that there is *NO* ice within a reasonable driving distance. that is why lots of us are driving to banff, hyalite, etc. If there was ice around and I needed a partner, I'd be more than happy to ropegun ya.
  16. Wow, 14 people in a couple of weeks. Very sad. It really is hard to not let it get to you when it hits people who are seemingly doing "all the rigth things"
  17. Well, dont envy minnesota too much. REmember, for ice to form it needs someplace higher to fall from...like a mountain...ever heard of those?
  18. Very very tragic. This is not the kind of news I like to wake up to. My heart goes out to the families and friends of everybody involved.
  19. loren, you driving to hyalite this WE?
  20. OK, it's not really a poll per se, but what adventure does everybody have planned?
  21. Hang in there luna, it's definitely a spray fest and the righties on here certainly are vocal, but it's an entertaining crowd regardless
  22. You are right...in fact..."We Cannot Proceed!"
  23. Still raining at lowquality pass of course, but that's too be expected.
