What they should do is head into the sisters and check out some sweet lines on Middle and n. side of south, and a few choice examples on Broken Top. Oh but wait, you don't ski. What a pity. Hood is so played-out.

How about red top mountain and those other little peaks down near odell lake? Nice area for the eugenites I might say. Maybe Fejas has some insight. I was only there once but it was fun exploring. There is also plenty of options out at Diamond Peak, though you may be familar with that already. Park Butte seems like an awful lot of approach work this time of year for what it is, though it sur looks to have some good lines on it. Would be fun to make a few days of it and ski some of Jefferson Park G. too.

CHuck I wholeheartedly agree with you. However, I find this Dean guy a bit disturbing, and he really doesn't stand a chance against GWB. I hate to say it, but for the country's sake I think we all need to do some damage control at the polls, set aside the individual who is perfect (who cannot possibly win) and pick the lesser of two evils, and that would be Dean at this point. He HAS to be better.

I admit that was basically the intention of my last contribution as well. Even worse than the roll on the toilet syndrome is the "russian roulette" where someone manages to clean up leaving 1, perhaps 2 squares on the roll with no recourse. Always do the preflight check folks.
