  1. I voted this morning. Guess I need a drink now.

  3. Have Garmin's MapSource software (compatible with Garmin's GPS). Would like National Geo's Topo. Anyone interested in trading some burned discs? * Note - Trade for evaluation purposes only. I in no way condone illegal software duplication.

    Nutria

It looked more like this one.
  5. Right, in theory it would be the weight of the climber x 2.

Damn, that's an f-ugly rodent. Saw one today eating trash accross the road. Like a cross between a beaver and a rat. Not being from around these parts originally, quite a sight!
  7. Don't forget Celebrity Boxing!
  8. Hmmmm, my '88 9000T got 26 mpg highway, with a 2.0 liter engine...
  9. Ahhh Saabs... They were working in two of my favorite car technologies long before anyone else - heated seats and turbo.
  10. I have the Sports Instruments Alta, low priced one targeted at skiers. Has the standard features, and is mostly accurate if you recalibrate a lot. It has stopped working twice - first time fixed for free by SI, second time replaced (and I bought it used, he he). Also, the new Backcountry magazine has a review of all the better models.
  11. Hmmmm, maybe.

    a donut and coffee

Just coffee, please, dark. Then my stomach shrivels up and I don't need any food.
  13. Ohhh, I get it now!
  14. Trask man, who pissed in your Cherrios this morning? C'mon, give a little, take a little, we're all having fun.
  15. No shizat! I'm already well
  16. One might be suprised what they could find, if they were interested in climbing...
  17. I use search to dig the gems of information out of the truckloads of crap, because in most cases my newbie-ass questions have already been answered.
  18. The problem (ok one of them) I have with testing, is that most are done by an inexpensive analysis that looks at what substances have been metaboloized (and are stored in body fat). Of all the drugs one could ingest, what is the one that stays metabolized for more than a day? The good green herb, of course. There's a more expensive and accurate gas chromo that could be done, but companies find it easier to take the cheap one then dismiss out of hand if positive.
  19. Harsh dude. They tried to do that at my office, but myself and three key people stepped up and said we'd quit. They relented and we're all still here. At least make sure you piss all over the outside of the cup too, that'll show 'em.
  20. No worries, no offense. I was half ribbing ya, half serious, yeah, I want that kinda job.
  21. MtnGoat, do you have a job? I'd love to figure out how to spend so much time surfing without getting fired...
  22. quote: Originally posted by MtnGoat: However when someone who doesn't know you sees you in it, isn't it likely they think about you what is spewed on this board? A gashog driving selfish owner who doesn't need what they drive? This is the issue I have with all the judgements passed around here like candy, they are almost entirely about people we do not know driving vehicles we don't know their reason for purchasing. Ok, lets take an example. At my office (software)there are 18 people with vehicles. 10 of them are SUVs (three Excursions, three Blazers, two Suburbans, a Tahoe and an Explorer, I counted). One has a tow hitch that is used to pull a boat (occassionally). All commute 2-20 miles, alone, daily. You make a good point, I don't like assumptions, but sometimes the anecdotal evidence adds up. At least in metro areas. Those like Iain who may own a truck but limit use are far in the minority.

See y'all at Pro Row.
  24. Well damint, we turn the clocks back on Sunday, precluding after work sessions at the Butte until next spring. So who's up for some pre-pub club climbin' tonight?
