  1. farmed salmon tastes like ass.
  2. robbob you got too much time on your hands...
  3. I've placed a few passively in some irregular basalt cracks where stoppers felt less than bomber. Sometimes the odd three point shape fits where nothing else will. That said they are a pin in the ass to fiddle with sometimes and I usually carry them only on easier ground.

    Scratched Skis??

some folks 'round here sure are a sucker for a troll
  5. I enjoyed it. Could have used some more badass big mountain skiing and less of that jibbin' and huckin' stuff IMO; that's what sold me on their films to begin with. Cascade stuff, don't recall other than some T-Line summer park footage.

  7. Hmmm, perhaps we'd all be safer if we spent the what, $180 billion instead to do any of the following things: - Inspect every cargo container entering the US. - Buy depleted uranium reserves. - Hire more police officers. - More air masrhalls. - etc. etc. etc.
  8. What's the Taliban ???
  9. Oooh, that's brilliant. It's really tough to find out what political party an indiviual is affiliated with What a moron.
  10. Yeah man congrats!!!!!!
  11. intellivision - asteroids. probably the first thing i was ever good at
  12. the flourescent grow lights are good for full spectrum and will probably do the trick for your house plants. if you really want to kick it up you need more wattage, high pressure sodium (outdoor utility lights) fits that bill.
  13. Got a bunch of runs in Saturday morning, some pretty sweet snow down there!
  14. It's cookie based. Delete your cookies. Click away. Repeat.
  15. Agreed. It just that a good number of these people were already working for professional guide companies... Maybe they don't get to 'use it' too much, but shit you'd think they'd at least keep their knowledge current.
  16. Well, neither WFAs or WFRs are certified for stiching. The class doubled as a WFR recertification (about half the class was there recerting) and I was quite suprised at the ineptitude and lack of knowledge for most of these folks. Isn't WFR like an 80 hour class? Anyways, props to WMI, t'was a little pricey but the class and the instructors rocked, thanks to whoever here recomended them.
  17. Being in Bend this weekend and not being able to get out and ski was painful. At least I'm WFA trained now, feel free to get injured
  18. so, did anyone go this weekend? how'd it all look?
  19. this was posted before, and the original poster was properly flamed. of course accidents happen, no 'lessons learned' in the video, why post it? it takes a sick mind to want to watch something like that.
  20. ahh punk, always so eloquent...
  21. Sweet, a beginner area
  22. Alta one day when I was about 12. Huge snowstorm, powder past my waist. First day off the east coast hardpack. Had no clue what I was doing and probably spent as much time collecting gear after spectacular wipeouts as I did on my feet, but shit those few moments where it all clicked and I was just floating were so friggin sweet!
  23. OMC and Mountain Shop probably have the best selection, but by no means the best deal if you already know what you want.
