  1. Well OMC did them originally (bought the skis from them) but one binding was slightly askew (the boot heel didn't come down straight into the binding) causing many problems for me early on. Barely noticable, until say you tried an agressive turn and then of course the toe would pop and I would go flying. Since they mounted them just off center anyways , I redrilled them myself just off the other side of center.
  2. Ha, another unrelated stupid driver story- a few years ago I was crossing the street in Boston (w/ a walk signal) and this guy tries to blow through before myself and all the others headed for the trains get in his way. Anyways I was walking the fastest and he almost hits me first but stops a fott away, and starts screaming at me. I gave him the finger and hocked the biggest lougie on his driver side window. Fucker gets so irate that he jumps out of his automatic transmission car without putting it into park. Got three steps towards me before he realized, then got to chasing his car down the road. Unfortunately it didn't hit anything but everyone got quite the laugh
  3. I have the Lazers for boots, not the Dynafits. I love them though, not as tough and aggressive as the DH stuff I grew up on but still solid. I've heard those fancy whatchamacallit liners can cut even more weight out too.
  4. I've got the same setup as Kurt, Dynafits on K2 Shuksans but with Scarpa Lazers. Lighter than most tele setups. I only have a half season on them but I've had good luck, even pounded the crap out of them a few days inbounds and they've held up fine. The dynafits take a little getting used to though. Oh, and don't let OMC mount them, they'll fuck it up.
  5. I've heard that there's all kinds of old crap on Cooper left over from a failed attempt at some sort of cable lift to the summit. Didn't know there used to be a tower, pretty cool.
  6. I've found many of these have been retrobolted and lose that R (arete next to the first pitch of Spiderman for example).

  14. Yup, that was us. We cragged a bit on the middle icefall then tried to climb though with the hopes of heading up one of the gullys up to the spur, but got stopped a bit short of the headwall and had to turn back. The new snow made things a little spicy, but all in all things were pretty solid and quiet up there.
