You are ignorant and/or delusional. Either way it is obvious that you don't know what you are talking about. It's not a school system issue.

I've been tobacco free for two years now. I started when I was 14 (I'm 43 now.) Cigs , cigars, plug, snuff, leaf... I used it all. I don't really miss it all that much, though there are strange times I still crave a dip or a smoke; when I'm taking a dump or during a shower, for example. I used the patch and the thought of my kids growing up with a dad who doesn't have a tongue, a lower jaw, or growing up without a dad. I know how tough it is. Good luck kicking it. I hope you do.

Good Bouldering/Climbing spots in Seattle area??

UW rock is more fun in that there are a lot more problems, but there are some very difficult problems on the boulder in question. I moved from that neighborhood about 4 years ago, so I haven't seen it in a while. Is it now posted? It wasn't when I was using it. -
Luna it is, but I think ye be wrong on that double summit in the background being Fury. The aspect is wrong from where I shot the pic. From the south, I think Fury would be in the foreground. I'm thinking something up around the Spickard/Redoubt area. I really don't know.

Not Despair. Looking about due north from the southern Picketts though. That low angle ridge in the foreground ought to give it away.

Nightmare Needles it is. I think the Flagpole is to the west of those shown in the pic, though it's been a while since I took it. This one might be a little more obscure (though I doubt it considering this group.)

I found the following on trailspace.com: "You probably won't be able to get rid of the stain, but you still need to kill the mildew to prevent further damage. The below is copied from northface.com. You can probably cut the "recipe" in half or quarter if you just have a small spot. Should mildew begin to form, set up the tent and clean it with a sponge and warm soapy water, then rinse with a clean sponge. Next, sponge-wipe the tent with a solution of ½ cup Lysol and 1 gallon of hot water. Leave the solution on the fabric and allow it to dry. Then, mix 1 cup of salt and 1 cup of concentrated lemon juice with 1 gallon of hot water. Rub the solution into the visible mildew and once again, allow it to dry." From MSRCorp: "Cleaning your tent is not necessary unless it has an offensive odor or becomes heavily soiled. If heavily soiled, the pressure from a regular garden hose will remove most loose dirt. For more severe cleaning, set up your tent and hand wash it with warm water, a sponge and mild, non-detergent soap. Do not use dishwashing liquid, detergent, bleach, pre-soaking solutions, or spot removers. Rinse well. Dry your tent by pitching or line dry. Never dry clean, machine wash or machine dry your tent. Any of these methods can remove all the waterproof coatings from the fabric." From wildernessconnection.com: "Mildew Treatment Formula This is a three step process. Step 1 - Mix 1/2 cup of Lysol in 1 gallon of hot water (not so hot you can't put your hand in it). Wash the fabric with a sponge and dry completely, without rinsing. Step 2 - Mix 1 cup of salt and 1 cup of lemon juice in 1 gallon of hot water (same "warning" as in step 1). Wash the fabric with this solution and allow to dry, without rinsing. Step 3 - After the item is dry, rinse it with fresh water and allow to dry thoroughly before storing. Hope this helps! But the best treatment is prevention. Always store your gear, after it has been thoroughly dried, in a cool, dry place. This procedure will stop mildew growth and eliminate the odor, but it will not remove the stain. Any damage caused by mildew is not covered under warranty. These measures are offered to help you prolong the life of your tent once mildew has set in. "

The glacial eratic about 2 blocks south of Dahl field and about 2 blocks east of 25th Ave NE. -
Chuck's is Backbone Ridge on Dragontail. The OW section I surmise. I'll see your easy one and raise you...

I was amazed at how Cheney could do that without moving his lips at all.

Ron Kauk did that in one of those Masters of Stone videos.

Are you talking Bill and Marcy Guthrie? It does look like Bill, and it does look like the top of Canary.

Interesting data Bill, but it seems a variable that is missing is the coefficient of static friction. Butt (and perhaps legs) and feet versus just feet?

A pull off a fresh Sigg bottle filled with hundred proof Stoly just pulled from a hole in the snow at the Lower Saddle in the Tetons as the sun is setting. That's the best martini I ever had. It was ever so slightly enhanced by the tokes given to us by the two dudes who were doing the Black Ice/West Face as exchange for the martinis.

Yeah, like how to make big bucks suing somebody for what should be considered common occurences.

I remember looking at the uphill (north) side of the Columbia Boulder in about 1980 and seeing a line of 1/4" webbing loops glued up the face. As I remember it, they went to the top. I was afraid to try clipping in and standing on one; they looked pretty manky.

Wouldn't that be a pack of matching draws?
