If you buy used wired nuts, look at the cable up near the head. If it's been radically bent or shows signs of fraying, keep on looking.

I learned to tele on a pair of Europa 99's my brother-in-law gave me that had some lightweight 3 pins on them. When I finally upgraded and moved my Riva cable bindings to a pair of Toute Neige, I counted 34 holes in the 99's. Apparently my bro-in-law got them 2nd (or 3rd) hand as well.

My doctor stuck a big-ass needle into my elbow and drained about 60 cc of a vile looking liquid. Prescriptions for antibiotics and anti-inflammatories and a week or so later my elbow was back to normal. No recurrences so far.

I e-mailed Voile's customer service department because I need some new plugs for a set of hardwire tele binding risers. Within two hours I got an e-mail back saying they'd send me a set gratis. Maybe it's just me, but I don't find that kind of customer service very often. Good on them.

Overnighted on Klahanie Ridge Jan 27-28. Clear sky, 32 degree plus temps all night(water bottles outside never froze.) Spring ski/corn snow conditions on south and east aspects. Couldn't have been any better...

Probably not a good idea, as they tend to break into segments. That, and if you can access it, it is probably coming out of your butt...
