Now that the IMA indoor structure is available.....and there are always complaints about the lack of parking....anyone else come to the conclusion that someone will propose the demolition of the UW Rock?

OK short term weight loss aside, any ideas on what a reasonable amount of weight would be to loose in 60 days? 10lbs? And should I blow off strenghth training if my first goal is weight loss?

Anyones try using these for developing hand strength?

Do a search on my name Peter_Puget in the gallery for some limestone pics. They are not taken at chinabend but very close. I have heard mixed reviews of chinabend but everyone who has gone has had a fun time - none have gone back. The limestone I found was nothing like American Fork. Without a guidebook I can't remember. I wanna say it was by the Phoenix area but honestly my memory isn't so good. Th eroute is not hard. JBGHSL was how it was shown in Climbing. I guess it's obvious that I think certain names should be censored.

Alex what about names such as "Stinking Wet Whale Vulva" "Fisting my Female Belay Slave"? "Johnny Bachar Guzzles the hot salty load" was a route name at Smith that was changed. Approriately so.

Wow E I was thinking that yesterday while cleaning a pitch. I think somehwere in the middle is where you should aim for but it's hard to fight the impulse to really stick on in, so I confess to sometimes sticking it in too far. My partner claimed she was placing her cams that way because she didn't have enough slings and wanted to reduce the chance rope drag would mess up the placement. Not sure if I am convinced but in same cases that seems like a good point. PP

Nah you can always do the Connection or combine routes. But the question was actually not related to the suggestion to go to Squamish.
