  1. Allison, I am a real gaper when it comes to using those stupid check out U scans, and I have had to get the checker that is there to help, but I have only used the ones at QFC. TTT
  2. Glad everyone was ok. Any idea what part of the mountain the snow cave was, and were they near the Pearly gates?
  3. Not today! Who came up with Pot'teryx anyway????
  4. Scot'Lambonesworkplace, Jerry and I were in our plastics going up the standard route up Si training Trask now that he has gotten rid of the ankle bracelets. Time for the real climbing to comense. TTT
  5. On Eldorado consider a non popular approach like the Sibley creek approach, better than the other and more of a N Cascade experiance. TTT
  6. Ah I never leave home without one. Tons of the other mentioned stuff. Oh yah, its a Civic HB not a SUV. Nothing against those that have them if they drive politely and use them off road. Also amongst all my junk, two planks of 2x6 to pass over nasty parts off road.
  7. But are you glad that Mtngoat is back too????
  8. K- I dont think Dan drinks anymore.
  9. Removing taxes from others means there can be a shift to those like us to pay more. Think about it, dont tax them, tax us instead!?!? If this happens how is the US going to pay for the Iraq thing? Cut road and justice tax dispursements??
  10. A Dan Larson showing (u'd be welcome)? I'll ask Scot'teryx if he can go too.... Can't miss this! Directions for those of us unable to pick up a phone book!?!
  11. Jees MtnGoat, do you just cut and paste all day. Try giving cliff notes for those who go to sleep reading what you say. You should start climbing and trying to get rid of your angst.
  12. XGKs are needed at higher altitudes, the best there is. I agree they are overkill on cross country hikes, lower alpine climbs. Nice discussion on phones, as I am about to get one.
  13. Yes I know it is really Fuhrer Finger. I have been turned back on these routes (always weather), and know they are pretty easy. I have others in mind too, on other mountains, more difficult.
  14. Well it is time for those resolutions for the New Year. On a hike today with a climbing buddy and others we talked about climbs and things to do this next year. Mostly for me it was pretty simple. I want to do some climbs on Rainier, easy but undone. Furious Finger Kautz Ingraham Direct Other climbs that are easy: Stuart, Shucksan, and many others I havent done. -Get in better shape. -Get better at rock climbing, -Donate money to groups that help with climbing issues -Write a letter to my Legistlator -Learn more on issues that I care about Anyway, any resulotions for the year 2003? TTT Oh yah, drink better beer!
  15. Reading some posts and know that the press cannot get stuff like this right. Condolences to those who know the injured/passed on. Talked to JERRY today and he is doing as good as can be in a situation like this. Sure more details will come out later. TTT
  16. Always fun to meet new people, like Iceice, Thinker (not a hippy) and Batgirl. Good to eat Brast and drink beer when work was hell. TTT
