responding to forrest M,
All the valley speedsters I know of and spoke with never once mentioned a tibloc. Not to say they haven't used em but they are not really used extensively by the "speedsters".
In general it comes down to your comfort level. I think of simul-climbing like soloing with just maybe a chance of survival if you fall. Notice I said maybe.
5 dollars eh, what crap. I wonder about parking across the road at that little house or somehting. Climbing is getting to be like paying for a greens fee in golfing.
One thing I haven't seen mentioned is that the stronger climber should be the lower climber. If the top climber falls it is like a leader fall. If the bottom climber falls there is a possibility that the rope could be pulled through the last piece and the top climber be slammed onto the last piece.
Your right Rochy, I am just a stupid sprayer too. Sometimes I forget I am only a lowly sprayer like the rest of us on here. . . well except for the ZSP's.
Thanks god for snafflehounds or our peaks would be riddled with business cards and unsightly cans of pieces of paper with wankers names all over them telling about how THIS peak is so great and how the views are so beautiful. Go to the summit, take a picture, take a picture flipping off the camera, take your nude summit shot and then go home.

That is why I posted in a question. Oh, and all three women on this site might benefit from this post.
