KaskadskyjKozak Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 The ownership of private property is a cornerstone of A so-called "progressive" movement that wants to take us all backward to feudalistic or neo-Confucianistic place circa 1400. I think this actually is in the Democrat's platform this year, so you are correct!! Quote

Jim Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Jim, misquoting is poor form. Ummm - since it was a "copy" maybe you could point out the "misquote". Sarcasm is out of style I guess Quote
Peter_Puget Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 (edited) Dig out a copy of the 1040 instructions for 2008 or 2009 and compare it to those for 2014. Near the end are tax tables, and after them charts for the higher marginal rates. maybe I am missing something but I did as you requested. for comparison I used a $71K AGI and the tax tables from the 1040 2008 taxes paid for single - about $14K taxes paid for married file jointly about $10.4K 2014 taxes paid for single $13.6K taxes paid for single $9.7K Looks to me like your taxes went down during our socialist muslim prez term! Your analysis shows a $400 reduction (for a single) 2014 TO 2008 but I think you've swallowed the Koolaid and frankly I am surprised Mr. science didnt pick up on your error. CPI All Cities Average = 644. CPI 2014 average = 709. Edited May 26, 2015 by Peter_Puget Quote

Maybe you can explain how this CPI matters? are you talkig about the Consumer Price Index? If so, how does that affect income tax? thanks gene Edited May 26, 2015 by genepires Quote

As usual, Jim, you're just making shit up and tailoring it to fit your worldview. The (ridiculous) $10,000 cash fed notification originates from the RICO Act of 1970, and money laundering statutes passed in the mid-1980s. Both KK and I know this, of course, because we are one-percenters who regularly carry fat stacks around in our leather satchels. Quote

I hold out hope that Jim actually is being a troll with his first link and barb. But i'm not so sure with his partisan blinders we can all agree that all convicted pedophiles should be executed immediately, right?
