Yeah, done that. And you never really know what the conditions are like unless yer there. I know avi stuff is serious bid-nass and one must be very diligent with their assessment of conditions before attemping a route in this sort of weather.

Yeah I predict it will be a terrible dangerous winter. Better go inside next to the fire. I'll climb a route or two let you know how they were. THen you can let me know how you were glad you weren't there. Ok ?

I think the red tape route is "in" at the gym, although the route might not stay "in" for too much longer. Shouldn't be too much avy danger given the low elevation and overhanging nature of the wall. There might also be a yellow tape route in primo conditions right now, but you'll have to scope that one out yourself. The red tape route might get crowded now since everyone now knows that this route is "in" so you might want to get a alpine start. Geek_em8.gif

Do you dyno at the crux? What's the M? rating?

Finish is a dyno, but there's a no-hands rest just prior. It think it's rated M-Scot'teryx; which is way aggro!!!

I bailed on the hills this weekend. We decided to go down to Larrabee in B'ham and clean aid all the sandstone cracks in the wind and rain by the sea. Fun stuff, 1st class. They are short, but better than watching CNN cantfocus.gif. Most of the cracks can be done free, but it's something good to do when your desperate in bad weather.

I reccommend: Railroad Dihedral and Desperation Crack. There are others. Grab some Jo at Tony's when your done grin.gif. Or a brew at Boundary Bay bigdrink.gif.

We'll be down there somewhere if you want a tour.
