glassgowkiss Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Oh it's clearing up- must be late Sunday afternoon then. Like fucking clockwork. Quote
Jim Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Had a dry hike Saturday morning, fun ski in snow showers today. What's not to love? Quote
denalidave Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Half rain, half sun. Just good to be home for the weekend... Â Â Â The commute was dry. Quote
glassgowkiss Posted March 4, 2013 Author Posted March 4, 2013 rained in bellingham most of sat- including baker ski area, did not start clearing up till 1pm today. isn't it a climbers board? who gives a flying fuck if you can go hiking on a half rainy day. the point of this rant is that you can't go climbing. and of course, when it's time to go back to work it clears up- like clockwork. I bet by this thursday it will start getting shitty again. Quote
whirlwind Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 You could always go mnt biking, its more fun in the mud anyways. Â Quote
rob Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Must suck to be GGK, he's always angry about something. That shit'll kill ya Quote
KaskadskyjKozak Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Â Great weather for biking to work today :-) Quote
glassgowkiss Posted March 4, 2013 Author Posted March 4, 2013 My bike is down, leaking oil out of front fork. Plus I hate pushing 46 pounds up hill for 30 minutes, so I can take a 5 minute ride down on shitty trails. N. Shore is still snowed up. Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 There were two cycle tourists riding the Icefields Parkway last this winter when I was there. The previous few days had seen -10 F. No room at the hostel. "No problem, we'll just camp". Â Dayum. At least they pretty much had the road to themselves. Quote
rob Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 I'd do that kind of shit if only my body fat % wasn't so high Quote
calamityinsanity Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 nice and sunny on snow creek wall! just take a tool for the lingering verglass. Quote

mountainsandsound Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 rained in bellingham most of sat- including baker ski area, did not start clearing up till 1pm today. isn't it a climbers board? who gives a flying fuck if you can go hiking on a half rainy day. the point of this rant is that you can't go climbing. Â Whoa, man. What's with the bad vibes you're throwing at mother nature? As good as a place WA is for climbing, if that was the only way we could get our rocks off here, we would die of boredom in winter. Or blue balls if that analogy is better. Â Guaranteed that even the most obsessed climber on this board has a whole set of athletic hobbies. I bet we even have some closeted spinners here. Quote
ivan Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 i like to paint wooden toy soldiers in the winter. i also like to tuck my twinkie between my legs and prance about like my aunt mildred whilst yodeling the ode to joy. Quote
Pete_H Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 That's normal. I just think you're weird cause you aid climb. Quote
matt_warfield Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 In Bozeman yesterday I was walking on a snowy/icy trail and got passed by a dude on a unicycle with a snow tire. Last month it was some guy ice skating down the middle of the street. Then there are the college kids wearing shorts and loafers at 10 deg. on campus. To each their own in passing winter. Quote
Pete_H Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Well supposed to be sunny this weekend so GGK should have splitter weather for chasing sheep. Quote
