bstach Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 So surprising that folks here are not beating down your door for a chance to make $24,000 for sitting behind a desk. Quote
Tyson.g Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 Are you kidding bstach? I make a lot less than that for doing a hell of a lot more work. Quote
jon Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 Let me heed some advice to anyone just getting out of school. Apply for this job. Real unemployment is at 22%. Most jobs out there are either a unpaid internship for new grads or they require 5 years of experience, which, guess what kiddo, you don't have. Get job experience. Get business experience regardless of your major. Having business experience will not hurt your biology ambitions. Plus, it's probably the coolest small city in Washington. Close to Baker, WA Pass, Whistler and Squamish. Cheaper housing then Seattle area, great food, TJs and Costco, stable economy thanks to all the Canucks coming across to shop. Quote
olyclimber Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Jeez don't let the word get out on the 'Ham. Quote
Jason_Martin Posted August 8, 2011 Author Posted August 8, 2011 It now looks like we may have two positions open. Jason Quote
iceaxe23 Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 oh man.....I just moved out here for a job but this one sounds much more fun... Quote
Jason4 Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 It's a great shop and business that's about a mile from my house. If I didn't already have the job that I do I'd be tempted. Just don't tell any more people about Bellingham. Quote
Buckshot Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 $15/hr? At least they tell you before you apply. Maybe a recent single college grad. Sometimes it seems like none of the fun jobs pay decently. If they did, I'd still be fighting forest fires. Quote

Water Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 $15/hr is solid for recent college grad! Unless you have an engineering or biz degree and looking for more--liberal arts grads who like the outdoors would be well to pursue something like this! Quote
mhux Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Damnit why am I still in school? Any job in Bellingham, even more so for the AAI would be super sick... Quote
