Hugh Conway Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 Jay, do you take this to indicate that your side is winning? Â Jay's side is now, beyond reasonable doubt, that of the ideologue. They are the only ones winning right now. Â Â Amazing how Wisconsin has gone from boring state that nobody cared about to asshat extremist paradise in a month. That's sure to bring the jobs. Quote
Off_White Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 Prole, I think you need that new Sheen-Blocker that's making its way around the net, it may profoundly improve your quality of life. Quote
ZimZam Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 It's all cyclical. Hope you don't think they're going away. As an aside. The WI Senate majority leader is Fitzgerald, his brother is the Assembly leader. Guess whose Daddy was delivered the public safety director position? Â Conservative or Liberal. Politicians all look the same, stink the same, and steal the same. Quote
rob Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 On the bright side, the republicans are doing a pretty good job framing themselves as anti-labor. This will only help the democrats in the next election. Quote
j_b Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 I am not sure this is a good thing if they continue agreeing with the neanderthals about cutting wages, benefits and refusing bailouts for main street after they serviced the banksters. Quote
ZimZam Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 On the bright side, the republicans are doing a pretty good job framing themselves as anti-labor. This will only help the democrats in the next election. They've been emasculated, and will eventually succumb to the Siren's call of mo' money. Quote
j_b Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 It's going to take a mighty pile of cash from the Koch brothers to get Walker (re)elected to anything from now on. Quote

Lucky Larry Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 (edited)  This just looks like the case of the mistaken Tenant demanding radical rent controls , or the victim of yet another malicious landlord out to get him.  Jay B I always enjoy a good chuckle.  Choda, well, what more is there to say? sickie  Off W rates very astute observation.  Prole ?  Hugh C--Latter  Off W you forgot the BOTANICALS.  ZZ Top Honors  rob see ZZ  jb not sure about the connection between wages and no bailouts--seems like a lot of bailout came down from the man. tvashtarkatena Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 (edited) My reaction, although that such a spirit isn't the 'real JayB' seems suspect, considering his long time denigration of middle class union workers. Â "A whole bunch of folks are gonna loose their jobs, and I'm celebrating" fits solidly in the sociopath category in my book. Â Â Edited March 11, 2011 by tvashtarkatena Quote

Think the empirical data supports a pretty substantial shift in the union demos since the advent of public sector unions, and in the midst of the massive decline in percentage of unionized private sector workers. j_b Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 after 30 years of widespread union busting in the private sector nationwide, union demographics have changed (duh!) Quote
