A majority of homeless folks are mentally ill. Not a whole lot of options for them these days: our society doesn't exactly pamper them. Yeah, they should be blamed for their situation. It's all about personal responsibility.

 

Homelessness and mental illness often go hand in hand.

There has been a big spike in police shootings lately in Seattle. This was just one of several that particular week. I think this was the only one brought into question though, as far as I know. One over here in west seattle featured a guy waving an assault rifle at cops.
