I had the opportunity to look this book over recently, and it is a pretty amazing piece of work. It is very useful for rehabing injuries, or strenthening specific muscles for climbing, along with useful tricks of the trade.

One thing you should add in the next edition Layton, is the management of the "Bivy Kit", and keeping sleeping pills seperated from pain killers....LOL

Looks pretty good. Probably have to snag a copy so I can get up Chair Peak without biv gear. But seriously, why did you include info on bolting? Some kind of sales-boost strategy?

What kind of self-publish deal is it Mike? like p.o.d. or did you have to get a huge load printed at once and stored in your spare bedroom until they sell?

How many do you have to sell to break even?

Looking over the finished product, I am awed, Mike. Absolutely smashing. Thanks so much for inviting me to contribute to it, I'm honored to have had a small part in it.:rocken:

I included info on bolting because there is not a book on it and people should know how to do it correctly. I bet you would approve actually.

Just send me a copy and I'll offer an honest opinion. If my review is favorable, you can use my name for promotional purposes.

Mine just arrived.

I read the "Praise" section by a bunch of really famous climbers and got all fired up.

I went out and ran 12 miles with big hills and pulled a hamstring.

F.... you Mike! This is your fault!

Just kidding. No injuries yet.

I had my wife review the exercises in your book last night.

She has been a physical therapist for 31 years.

She gives you an excellent review!

Cheers.
