olyclimber Posted September 2, 2009 Author Posted September 2, 2009 Sept 25-27th. Bridge Creek group campsite. We're going to be showing local, local Enchantments climbing! If you have pictures of climbing in the Enchantments (of any vintage, some old ones would be really cool), bring and we'll show them as time allows. We'll be working on story ending for Jake Porter's new romance novel after the slide show.
Figger_Eight Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 FWIW the Everett Mountain Rescue squad will be in the campground hanging from trees and building tyroleans over the river and stuff.

sobo Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 I am so there again this year. But I won't kill my truck battery with the flashing light on the roof again this year... And if anyone wants to take a quick jaunt up WR Prusik, I'd be up for that.
amber10_79 Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 That, I can do! Guess that means I should leave the kiddos at home? Thanks for the info, and I can't wait! ~Amber

olyclimber Posted September 7, 2009 Author Posted September 7, 2009 lol i think that depends on how in shape you are! i would recommend approaching via Assguard Pass/Annapurna though. its something i'd like to do, but i will be just cragging in the Icicle that weekend. I believe it has been done in a looong day.
sobo Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 anyone want to climb the Flagpole? or is that not a quick jaunt? Ask Kyle Flick and TeleRoss how much of a "quick jaunt" that is...

thelawgoddess Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 I took my kids once. The x still talks about it. in a good way or a bad way? i was wondering this as well.
sobo Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 We may rent a clown this year too. http://www.clownsunlimited.com/view_product.php/1/1013 why rent one if you can get Fairweather to show up for free? hikerwa Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 ha! I remember the Brats, that was a fun one. Haven't made in a couple of years, could be worth going. Good to see Beck is still with us, I guess me too, been a while.
telemarker Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Ask Kyle Flick and TeleRoss how much of a "quick jaunt" that is... Umm...that would be the other freeheel'r! Flagpole is doable in a good day via Little Annapurna
