Bug Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 At kids ropeup we just proceed as though we are at ropeup. The kids don't pay any attention. Maybe its because they can relate to us better when we aren't so uptight.

Sherri Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Do Muffy and Mommy ever get into a fight? Who wins? I bet they're both pretty tuff.

Not a personal attack. Although you do seem to have a nerve ending there. Oh and one more thing, your kids are going to figure out how to search the cc.com database on "Muffy_The_Wanker_Sprayer" before you figure out they have. Get your rationalizations ready now.

amber10_79 Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 Is this similiar to Rockfest? I'd love to go, but I don't really have any gear yet. Any suggestions? Any information I can get on this get together would be awesome. I'm addicted to Rockfest, and once a year isn't enough! Thanks -Ber
catbirdseat Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 What gear do you have? You have a harness and shoes, don't you? That's enough.
Bug Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 (edited) I have always taken one or two up the R&D Route on Icicle buttress on Sunday AM (no strings attached). It is a 4 pitch 5.6. Easy, safe, fun. All are welcome. All you need are shoes and harness. Helmets are advised but not enforced. You can rent gear at the mountain shop in Leavenworth. Edited September 10, 2007 by Bug
AlpineK Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 I'll be coming straight from taking a test in Spokane to Rope Up. I'll be there late on the 12th.
olyclimber Posted September 10, 2007 Author Posted September 10, 2007 Bring some dead trees to burn FECK!
AlpineK Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 Maybe, I have to spend 2 days in Spokane, and I might need the space in the back of my truck to sleep.

No worries Bug, I did not take offense. I am a rather up tight parental figure. be design. the funny thing is they already know i am Muffy and that i call them the Things on line. They have met a ton of cc.comers. however they have witnessed very little debauchery. 7 hours is a long way to drive to get a hang over...

tanstaafl Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 Man it is astounding the shenanigans you married folks have to go through in order to leave the house. Good luck to you all.
