Chad_A Posted August 17, 2007 Share Posted August 17, 2007 I would avoid anything that uses cards (Olympus and Fuji) as I've been told repeatedly they're notorious for damage/data loss. It's probably a power supply component (a little more mass than other components, not surface mountable) that fails from impact on these things, I'd guess. I recommend you either buy a new one or attempt to repair it. Â You can either buy a new camera using the internet or go to a brick and mortar store. Digital cameras are popular, look into those.
