TeleRoss Posted August 5, 2006 Author Posted August 5, 2006 solid day Mike what I should have done: Quote
ivan Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 left out the best part of my day! Â 7 AM - arrive in mcdonald's drive-through line morbidly hung-over 7:01 AM - force bro-in-law to switch to driver after the vanguards of The Big Burp begin to arrive 7:03 AM - mere yards away from the drive through window, and in full sight of a half-dozen cars in which humble workingmen wait for their meager biscuits on the way to their tedious jobs, i commence w/ the Great Spit 7:05 AM - leaving a great big puddle of orange gunk (mmm - TANG!) by the roadside i pad back into the passenger seat in my mulch-encrusted socks and proudly eat the hashbrowns that have just arrived Quote

Winter Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 Drove over a nail and punctured my tire just outside of Darrington on the way to a climb at 6AM. Try #2 tomorrow AM after a free repair at Les Schwab! Â Haha! We saw the donut at the parking area. Sad looking thing. Did ya hit up the Darrington rock fest dude?! Â We tried to bargain are way in after climbing but they wanted $50/person to watch some dude from Styx play with some loser from Foreigner. Cheap Trick cancelled due to lack of payment. Classic Rock Rocks! I mean sux! Quote
sobo Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 I went to the Killing Fields and saws the bones of people who were murdered by Pol Pot. Â Wow, I'll bet that was chilling. I didn't know that they left all those people's bones out there after Pol Pot's ouster in the mid-1980s. Did you read Survival in the Killing Fields per my suggestion? Â I spent a long chilling day at Dachau, outside of Munich, many years ago. I still carry the memory of that day. Just plain frightening. Â Sorry if I put a wet blanket on anyone's day with this post. Quote
