I agree that it's fun to share, and no one is forcing anyone to read the tr if not interested. As far as I'm concerned, Terminal Gravity's tr on Rainier recently was outstanding. Its true, jordop's shot of that new canadian classic route wouldn't be nearly as effective without Mr. Layton in the frame. Actually, the soloing shot that made an impression on me was Krakauer's photo down between his feet on his attempt on the witches cauldron side of Devil's Thumb, all the more effective and bleak in black and white.
