Alpinfox Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Clap Your Hands, Say Yeah this one barely missed the cut: Blue Scholars Quote
John Frieh Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 Blue Scholars BS definitely made an impressive debut but album of the year? Hmmm... I still think they need to make some strides to further establish a true self identity... at this point I think they sound like a J5 copy cat... Some of my 2006 best of hip hop picks: Danger Doom - The mouse and the mask Blackalicious - The Craft Cage - Hell's Winter Sage Francis - a healthy distrust Perceptionists - black dialogue Albums I am most stoked about for 2006? Dre - Detox Immortal Technique - Revolutionary Vol 3 (unless the CIA gets him first ) Roots - Game Theory (on Def Jam!) Mr Lif El P and anything MF Doom touches including... Madvillain 2 I just might have to change my avatar Quote
