RuMR Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 oh really? I was gettin' ready to head to sears to get you a full blown 5 hp generator... Oh, and they'll talk about the night the lights dimmed, faded and went out in 11worthless...truly songworthy...
Kitergal Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 Hey, I could use the generator as well.... K. you let me know what you guys are bringing...and I'll pack accordingly!

RuMR Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 AA are much too small... That's where I come in your "unit" is a AAA variety...you are definitely too small
jon Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 ARE YOU GUYS WORKING ON YOUR CC.COM TEE SHIRT DESIGNS? Here is my submission. I just got back from Europe and I saw a few people wearing this shirt. It's bound to be a hit with the cc.com crew.
sk Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 has anyone heard anything about a smith rock luv fest this year??
ivan Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 i think the smiff thang has always, compared to the more regimented l-worth rope-up, been a more sponantaneous and hip trip - we don't get rei sponsorships and generators - we just get piss drunk in a great big grassy field w/ cow skulls, drink beer n' smoke cheeba in the pouring rain while fire-dancing, and climb sick tuff in-between bouts of uncontrollable vomiting during the daylight hours i reckon the stars'll align sometime in october

olyclimber Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 i think the smiff thang has always, compared to the more regimented l-worth rope-up, been a more sponantaneous and hip trip - we don't get rei sponsorships and generators - we just get piss drunk in a great big grassy field w/ cow skulls, drink beer n' smoke cheeba in the pouring rain while fire-dancing, and climb sick tuff in-between bouts of uncontrollable vomiting during the daylight hours i reckon the stars'll align sometime in october Beyond ensuring that there will be beer, camping, and maybe a few slides shown, there will be no organization at Ropeup this year. Anyone caught organizing will be shot. Please return to your subdivided subsector immediately. Violators will be shot. Obey all orders without question. Do not attempt to think or depression may occur. Remain calm, do not panic. The number one enemy of progress is question. Use only the drugs described by your boss or supervisor. At last everything is done for you.
ivan Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 oct 8 works for me - the other requirments for the smiff tuff love traditionally seem to be getting terminal gravity and tim-may! on board... might help if it had it's own thread...
AaronB Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 If I can get ever get a flight out of Ladakh, I've got some funny pictures to show.. And great video coverage of me comandeering a horse to cross a river.. The horse recovered fully I am told. Though if anyone sees a Dakine Poacher pack in the Zanskar river with 2 grivel alp wings attached.. I would like them back.. The pack is bad luck however, and you can have it. Oh, and my glasses would be nice.
EWolfe Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 If you think you'll want your own campsite, now would be a good time to get it reserved. Please reserve a site for yourself, somewhere far away.
knotzen Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 The Zanskar River? Oh, I was there last week. Didn't see your pack, sorry. Since it's bad luck, good thing.
olyclimber Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 If you think you'll want your own campsite, now would be a good time to get it reserved. Please reserve a site for yourself, somewhere far away. Oh...one more thing. There will be a Battlecage at this year's ropeup. MisterE is going to suffer.
