I could be wrong, but I doubt that the manufacturer (EADS) gives a damn about climbers. It's a publicity stunt to sell more belly-poppers.

Maybe it is Fido training for an Everest Speed Record. He will fly to the top with dog and then piss down the mountain in the general direction of Chad. After the stroke fest of "establishing a new record" it will be back to training for the fastest quart of mayonnaise suckdown.

i don't think Id want to be the rescuer popping out of my O2 rich helicopter to run over and try to carry a injured climber at 29,000 feet. Thank you for letting your hypoxic rescuer croak.

Well, this report has now been confirmed. Just read about it in the Vancouver Sun, so it must be true. Haven't seen The Province yet, because if it was in there too, it would be totally validated in my opinion. (Good odds it is in there though, cause I think front sensational cover aside, they simply rearrange the articles.)
