jordop Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 Someone should send the Canadian Immigration folks a letter suggesting nefarious activity if he were ever to enter BC airspace Quote

JayB Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 Wow. The line on the E. Face looks pretty moderate from that vantage point, but this shot also really puts the avy-hazard into perspective. Looks like certain death if anything cuts loose in the upper bowl. Quote
Stefan Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 This is a nice picture: http://www.pbase.com/nolock/image/40165979 Quote
kurthicks Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 is that n face couloir on copper mountain climbed or not? it looks like a sweet line it's mentioned on summitpost. "Northwest Couloir: Accessed from lower Big Creek. This is an ice climb...Find the couloir in question and climb it. The final portion leaves the ice for Class-4 rock..." beautiful looking line. rat Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 the photo of buck fails to show the 1500' of thrashing required to get out of the alder-choked avalanche catch basin below the face. the approach is frought with danger. the rock is rotten green schist. you will undoubtedly die. but you must take a number and get in line to do so. JoshK Posted March 3, 2005 Posted March 3, 2005 John's pictures are fucking awesome... I also think it's great that he is exposing "secret" lines that people like to keep yet never really do anything with. Looks like a ton of great shit to get... Quote
