Loose_Brie Posted April 6, 2004 Author Posted April 6, 2004 FYI most stuff has been picked through but then have a bunch of BD biners, QDs and sterling ropes. Quote
foraker Posted April 6, 2004 Posted April 6, 2004 shit. aren't we supposed to get notices for this sort of thing via mailings? Quote

foraker Posted April 6, 2004 Posted April 6, 2004 Just went. Very very small pickings. Still have crampons avail. Harnesses. Selling perlon by the spool. Quote
blue_morph Posted April 6, 2004 Posted April 6, 2004 tons of climbing shoes still, and all the La Sportiva climbing boots are going outhe door too. Got a rope and an extra axe. There are a ton of harnesses too. Quote
minx Posted April 6, 2004 Posted April 6, 2004 hey there's people with trust funds that like to climb too. Quote
Alpinfox Posted April 6, 2004 Posted April 6, 2004  WOOOHOOO!  Thanks Dave.   They still have harnesses, rock shoes, boots, a few sterling ropes, small hexes, small nutz, a few knifeblades, perlon by the spool, BD carabiners (no ovals, lockers, or wiregates), ATCs, water-ice crampons, a couple of crappy "MountainEars"-style ice axes...  No cams left. I got pretty much the last of em  Wish I had gotten there earlier, but I still got some good stuff.  $5 for a new harness Quote
schnitzem Posted April 7, 2004 Posted April 7, 2004 The sale was sureal...it was like that wave that surfers are always looking for. Â Between the six of us that were there when the store opened - we cleaned them out of about 15 full sets of metolius and BD cams, portaledges, pitons, quickdraws..... Â The only sad part was watching how bummed out some of the store employees were to see all the gear go for so cheap. Quote
marylou Posted April 7, 2004 Posted April 7, 2004 Still a bunch of harnesses, lots of different styles and sizes there. Â An Alpine Bod runs 13.50 with sales tax. Quote
Rodchester Posted April 7, 2004 Posted April 7, 2004 Still lots of harnesses and rock shoes, as well as mountaineering boots. Most everything else is gone. Â Oh yeah, some water ice crampons too and maybe one mountaineering ice axe. Â God damn I wished I'd been there yesterday... Quote
