Alan Posted November 12, 2003 Posted November 12, 2003 The strangest one I've seen recently was "The Audition" (Japan). Makes you think way more than twice about which girl you might want to go out with. Watched "The 25th Hour" last night. Not bizarre, but much more than what I was expecting. Excellent film. Quote
Ratboy Posted November 12, 2003 Posted November 12, 2003 Mulholland Drive. Bizarre, but very good. And very hot! Quote

mattp Posted November 13, 2003 Posted November 13, 2003 Ken Ford mentions "Henry" - I'd second that for being one messed up film! By the end of it, I actually thought Henry was a good guy compared to his buddy! For psycho weirdness, I'd say "Repulsion" by Roman Polanski is a under recognized bit of genious. It'll creep you out for sure. Quote

arlen Posted November 13, 2003 Posted November 13, 2003 Sad thing is, Ken Russell's The Devils is a lot more bizarre now than it was when I saw it in 1985. I think it was a children's movie when it was released in 1971. With a rawkin Peter Maxwell Davies score! Quote
nonanon Posted November 13, 2003 Posted November 13, 2003 I don't think anyone's mentioned Polanski's "The Tenant." That one creeped me out for days. Quote
